So it looks like the players were at Vic’s house last night playing games with the toilet paper and all that. So we all know what that means!:D

In case you don’t it means someone is on a visit right now. I tried to look in the glass reflection to see if I could spot anyone but they did a good job of hiding it this time lol.

What is classy? Mulkey just won a NC in her 2nd year. She may be lacking in the "humanity" department but fact is that she kicked our *** year after year and continues to put players into the WNBA. Why wouldn't someone want to play for her. I'm Burnt Orange through and through, but we're going to have to be ready when we face her.
Really? I believe Dawn Staley is pretty classy and capable and composes teams with young women with humility and sportsmanship. I think Celeste fits into that group better than she would with a Mulkey group. Oh, and just in case you forgot, SC won the championship last year, was ranked #1 all this year and had 4 players in the WNBA draft.

I'm hearing "Proof's in the pudding" in my head. Let's go!

Can it be taina mair from Boston college she and deyonna started following each other

Good for us that Taina Mair already has a (recruiting) relationship with Coach Wisdom-Hylton from when she was at BC.

27. Taina Mair, 5-foot-9, G, sophomore, Boston College

The departures of Gakdeng and Mair are a real blow to the Eagles. Mair was the team's third-leading scorer (11.1 PPG), right behind Gakdeng, and was eighth in the country with 6.6 assists per game on a team that only shot 41.4% from the field. That Mair is a Boston native who originally decided to stay home and then started all 33 games as a freshman makes the decision that much more surprising. She would be an ideal fit for a talented team that just needs to plug in a pass-first point guard.

Zack Zillner started following Taina Mair on Instagram.
I watched video of her and she's got a really nice skill set... definitely Vic's type of player. I don't get real caught up on shooting percentages of transfers coming in, because you never know what type of situational factors contributed to them. She would definitely be a nice get!

I noticed that earlier today as well. And she follows Coach Lovato. But what I find strange is that as of 8pm this evening, she doesn't follow a single one of our players. That has me wondering if the event at Vic's house last night was a social event where they hosted a different prospect?

As Texashorns pointed out, she and DeYona are following each other on Instagram. IG is a weird beast. If you look at Taina's account, you don't see her following DeYona; but, if you look at DeYona's account, you see that Taina is one of her followers. Could be refresh issues.

Bottom line is that she doesn't seem to follow many people in general; the one follow/follower she added recently (I think) from Duke was Celeste, and well now CT is leaving Duke.

Granted, Taina Mair was a freshman, but I'm concerned against ACC teams, she averaged 5.9 ast/g against 4.65 to/g, for a 1.27 ast/to ratio, and shot 30-111 BTA for 27.0%. Not the kind of offensive numbers that addresses the team's needs.

And, IG now shows Aaliyah Moore following Mair, and vice versa. Also shows her following Duke's Ashlon Jackson, and being followed by Duke's Kennedy Brown. So, probably refresh issues (at least for me) since a few hours ago.

I’m sure the ladies will be at the spring football game so for those who go if y’all see anyone with the ladies that’s not on the team please let us know. Even if you don’t know who it is just give a description and I’m sure me and @Moooooo can figure out who it is:D

Last year's perimeter acquisitions via the transfer portal, both of whom were grad transfers:

Gonzales
2021-22 49% FG; 22% 3FG
2022-23 41% FG; 35% 3FG
Morris
2021-22 46% FG; 35% 3FG
2022-23 41% FG; 38% 3FG

No disagreement on Staley. My point is that whatever we think of Mulkey is not nearly as important as what potential players think. She won a NC in her 2nd year and we'll be facing her after next year. She also has a top-5 recruiting class this year.
