2022 Softball Season

I hope she isn't asked to save us tomorrow and then start Sunday.
Like the one game we won last weekend...we must hit/score the ball to beat any top 10 team.
 
I think the Oklahoma State pitcher is better the Bahl. Kelly Maxwell from League City area. She wasn't this good in travel and club. They have really developed her.

Lets beat up on Elish.
 
Tornado Warning and everyone has been evacuated. I think it’s safe to say this game won’t be played tonight. Oklahoma state is very bad at planning as this whole weekend has not been thought out very well. They should’ve moved up the game like the baseball team since the weather was predicted to be bad yesterday.

Yeah, Mary put out some tweets that didn't come out and bash OK-State, but showed displeasure in their lack of planning and flexibility in regards to a storm they knew was coming from mid-week on.
 
One could say source of our hitting issues is pitch selection.....while I sit here in my living room chair...LMAO:yippee:

Gotta be tough when our pitchers have to be near perfect against top ranked teams.
Doesn't matter...in today's game if we don't hit we can't win
 
Well lets forget about that one and move on...
Hope their pitcher isn't seriously hurt.
We have seen Maxwell so we will hit the ball better in next game.
 
Question for the diehard fan...If season ended today in your opinion which would be the more pressing need...Improving our pitching depth, better hitting or cleaning up the errors on defense?
 
Runner on 2nd, 2 outs, 3-2 count, outfield back, how is runner not moving on the pitch and SCORING on the hard hit to right?

Sooo, I'm stretching here for any positive......OSU averages 6 runs per game and we only gave up 5 in both games combined and 8 for the entire series. We also "only" had 1 error in each game which for this team is a solid couple games.

We kept yelling at the TV to "pull her!". But then, I think Mike figured that there was no way to pull that out and left her in to see how far she could go. So yes. One bad inning and then she gutted out the rest.

I think of Grace Green (2020) and Ryleigh White (2021) that had bad first years and then left. I don't get that from Simpson.
 
2-0 Already afte 1-1/2 innings.

Can someone please tell them to stop swinging 3-0. It never works out and the stats are miss leading about the efficiency of it.
