2022 Recruiting - Football

There is something under the surface that I can’t put my finger on, like Ewers, Arch, Brockermeyers, etc that is keeping the positive momentum behind the Texas program. There is more than what is above the water line.

We lose our top 3 RB's next year, RB's are crucial in this class... And LB's might be worse than our OL situation. PK need LB's for his scheme to work.

I think we lose Bijan and ROJO next year. Also, do you think this will only help us with Reuben Owen? I do and I also think LB is going to have to be experienced and ready to play the minute he walks on campus. That's all I was sharing.
 
Texas twitter is lighting up tonight. Sounds like we have a commit coming. See Bryan Allen Jr.'s tweets and some others. Alludes to some big recruiting momentum swing.
 
Sorry, I think Owens is gone. I hate that because I went to see him play two years ago. I thought then and think he's the real deal.
 
Lubbock Cooper's Kobie McKinizie is committed to ou but was also offered early on by USC. I've been able to watch him play twice, it'll be interesting to see what he does now.

Yup. The suddenness of the de commits makes one wonder if this was in the works for a bit.
 
You got to give USC administration credit to pluck Riley away from OU.
OU and fans have to be pissed. Losing their coach and some highly ranked recruits.
I feel for them.

Man I love this! I know I got some heat on other forums for wishing against a bowl game for our 5 win team but it's because this is the kind of stuff I want our staff focused on 24/7. I think visits to towns like Spearman will pay huge dividends for us in the years to come.

p.s.- I see Banks in the pic but guess he left the monkey at home??

I haven't visited Sooner forums since the days of SoonerFarks. I made an exception last night and this morning. Their pain is glorious.
