Dang. I guess he didn't pay attention to the glowing recruit reviews from the Big Recruiting Weekend. We may be hedging our bets here. It's rumored the Michigan State assistant Mel Tucker is among the top 3 candidates to take over at LSU. If so Winfield will most likely commit to them.
Tucker was at Winfield's game last night snd has been recruiting him hard for michigan state.

And WVU will be a challenge also. We're still in it for a ton of talent. But we have got to finish strong. The bailor and iowa state games are scary unfortunately.
Hank South is Alabama 247 guy ...
If he chooses to go there then enjoy the bench. Look at the list of 5starts sitting in front of him. I remember we really wanted Camar Wheaton last year and he is sitting the bench as well. Getting to run behind a good OL always helps longevity but we will get better at OL and these guys can help bring the OL to them as well. Hope it was just a trip but we are sitting good at RB now.RBJamarion Miller officially visited Alabama this weekend, per 247.
Agree cnb, but in reality, I cannot remember a decommit ever signing with Texas ... usually its a one way door out
lock down CB with swag you say ... we could use that in spades ... cant get here soon enough
Played a role in my favorite Billy Martin story. During warmup in Toronto Winfield threw a ball that fatally struck a seagull, sending feathers flying everywhere. As Winfield was criticized by animal lovers, the Yankees Manager came to Winfield's defense. "If he did it on purpose it would be the first time this season that he hit the cutoff man."Dave.
Great power hitter that Winfield.
Former five-star OL Kingsley Suamataia has decided to transfer from Oregon.
247 mentioned was recruited heavily at Alabama by coaches Banks and Flood, so possibly one to monitor.
