2022 Recruiting - Football

Hmmmmmm.

In another few years, they'll probably be selling thousands of leftover Ewers autographed photos for 5 cents a piece at the flea markets in Ohio.

He's either going to be a Heisman candidate or a bust. I don't believe there is any in between. I lean more toward bust.

Well, since we're now going to be using 2 TEs 1/3 of the time (and 1 TE the other 2/3 of the time), I'm not so opposed to TE over-recruiting.

In the past, we'd have 10+ TE on the roster with 1 on the field only around 1/2 the time. (and never 2 TE on the field except on the goaline).

Waiting for Mchammer... Dream come true?!
Yes, we have plenty of space on roster for TE’s. If needed, we can convert our TE’s to back up OT, DE, LB, and WR. It also means we are keeping the top TE’s away from our competitors. We will have a huge TE advantage!!!

TFB is reporting that Justice Finkley is trending Texas. They say he could commit within the next two weeks. Another recruit Bo Davis was pursuing.

I like the photo attached to this post of the four backfield members, but isn’t the correct year, 1970 rather than 1971? Steve Worster did not play in 1971. He played in the three seasons of 1968, 1969 and 1970. That’s my recollection anyway.
I think the photo was taken at the Cotton Bowl game in January 1971

If we keep winning (and I think we will), there may be some disappointed high level recruits because there might not be enough spaces to accommodate them.
