Future GOP: hard working children of immigrants who believe in the American dream instead of victimization:

The first tranny elected to Congress. Get ready for a fight over how he'll be addressed. "Gentleman from Delaware" or "Gentlelady from Delaware?"

@Garmel , it's ridiculous and funny, but I'm dead serious. If he GOP holds the House, there will a big fight over how he is addressed from the Speaker's chair and by committee chairs. He'll act massively offended at being "misgendered" and cry about the "mean Republicans" who won't go along with his delusion.

"I know hope can feel hard to come by. I know right now it’s hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel. It’s hard to believe that if we work for it, the progress we need will come."

It sure is interested in seeing, feeling, and believing in something hard.

I have the solution. Say the trans version, but use “air quotes” with your hands every time you say it with your mouth. Best of both worlds.

Yep. The MSM will also defend "her" and talk about how transphobic the republicans are.

Interesting, but in a way it shows little. It's how members identify, but it says nothing about actual religious practice - church attendance, Bible reading, prayer, etc.

Need to get that Protestant number up around 75% and the non-Christian numbers as close to 0% as possible.

It depends on what that means. A lot of people who call themselves Protestant Christians don't believe in the Bible. I'd prefer atheists to them.

It does depend in a sense, but I would rather have cultural Protestants who don't believe in the Bible than atheists 100% of the time. Atheists also don't believe in the Bible and they also don't have any of the cultural values that I have.
