2021 Transfer Season

My guess is Coach Vic is just not as worried/unhappy with his current roster as some of you appear to be. Vic said last spring that he expects Lauren Ebo to play 30 minutes a game this year. I’ll be really surprised if she does not start if healthy (please yes.)
 
Yeah, this explains why Syracuse was bleeding players. I totally forgot they played for the national championship. This is also shows how a super-recruiting coach's reputation doesn't seep out to naive HS players and their families.
 
Coach Calamity, Dionnah, and April all followed Lavender Briggs on Instagram. I'm going to take that as Texas is pursuing her but I do think Baylor is the favorite

Wow! Who wouldn't be interested in her? Reminds me of a taller version of Ariel with that pull-up jumper.

I thought this was a joke at first. You know she had plenty of P5 offers, very interesting choice indeed. Puts UAPB as the frontrunner in the SWAC with her addition alone, in my opinion. Will be interesting to watch the rest of her career play out!
 

Wonder what happened there. It's not like she was getting beat out for her position since Lsu doesn't have great guards who will beat her out. On top of that she is in her hometown so whatever Mulkey did cost her a great guard
 
JJ, I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop. Don't you have a pithy comment like "At this point you have to do some self reflection"?

LSU seemed to be the perfect landing place for her. Or do you think this situation is different than Alexis Morris?

I don't for this situation because Ursin followed her coach of 4 years to a school in her hometown so it was the perfect situation for her. She is a team player and not the type to leave because she was getting beat out for her position.

I only said that with Morris because, she was dismissed from Baylor & transferred like four times since then. She wasn't even there a semester at A&M and I've heard from multiple people she has some character issues. I'm not judging her at all because we all mess up but self reflection is needed if you have to transfer that many times.

Ursin knows how Mulkey works and won't just up and leave for no reason. Something happened to cause her to transfer especially since school has started and teams have already started practice.

Maybe she is leaving due to grades/classes/credits not transferring to LSU. Otherwise, it seems very odd that she would leave LSU right when fall classes are starting. My only other guess is that it has something to do with Alexis Morris joining the team. She and Alexis came to Baylor in the 2017 class. Alexis may have changed but it seems that part of her past problems in previous schools was a result of a difficult and disruptive personality.

Moon will be a great addition to a roster.
 
I agree that is probably had something to do with the relationship between her and Morris, very odd she would transfer away from her hometown and coach especially at this point in the season.

she would’ve started and been a 35+ MPG player for Mulkey this season with or without Morris so I definitely don’t think paying time has anything to do with it.

Big loss for KM, Moon would’ve been a much bigger contributor to the team than Alexis.
