2021 commits: Paige Bradley and Rori Harmon
Do you think Vic will honor paige Bradley's scholarship or do you think he might use it for another 2021 player and go hard for someone maybe Aaliyah moore?

No idea - have to wait and see. Ketara Chapel and Dom Dillingham both follow her on Twitter.

That's what I get for being busy this afternoon and missing out on the Harmon announcement and comments. I am beyond excited. In watching her on video and listening to those that have actually seen her play, she is the perfect point guard. I love bigs and wings and two guards, but a good team will never be elite without that special point guard. Just like the quarterback in football, your point guard makes or breaks you. I learned the hard way in AAU. We had a good team and finished 3rd and 4th in the SW Region in two years. Then found an elite point guard at Irving McArthur and the team took on her personality and won the region as a 14 year old team. She made everyone better. Just having that special player at the point is more than huge. Schaeffer has now shown he is going to be a factor in the top players in the nation. Assuming that it was between the Bears and Horns, winning out over Mulkey makes Harmon's commitment even more special. This year is going to be super exciting and 2021 should be even more. I am optimistic there is more to come in recruiting. We need that monster post player for 2021 or at the latest 2022. It will be interesting where she comes from. Have I mentioned I am excited !!!!!!

Hot dang, Vic already succeeding on the recruiting trail!

Rori Harmon is so athletic. Her on ball perimeter and full court defense is outstanding. Both she and Kendall Hunter are unselfish. We need to keep these Texas HS players in state. #PraiseTheLordAndHookemHorns

It's been an exciting 3 weeks no doubt.

Instead of worrying about how many 'ships we may or may not have open for the 2021 senior class, I'm just gonna enjoy the recruiting process and information as it comes our way. Rosters these days are constantly changing; attrition, injuries, and transfers are inevitable.

That being said, and without knowing who remains at the top of our staff's 2021 recruiting board, my wish list would be:

1. Aaliyah Moore, F, 6'2 - Oklahoma
2. Maryam Dauda, P, 6'4 - Arkansas
3. Jersey Wolfenbarger, W, 6'2 - Arkansas
4. Kyndall Hunter, G, 5'8, - Texas (you can never have enough great guards as per Vic himself)

I would say there’s a better than average chance Moore is coming. My sources have told me that she was VERY close to a commitment with KA before she left. As long as Vic plays his cards right, which I’m sure he will, I would say it’s a matter of time before she commits.

So, Rori Harmon does play club ball for CyFair Premier. Her teammates include Jada Malone and Tori Garza (New Caney).

Aaliyah Moore and Kyndall Hunter play club ball for CyFair Elite.

Would love to have her at Texas. What type of forward is she, size/skill-wise?

She was one of the first people on twitter to congratulate Rori today on her verbal commitment . . .

Twitter stalking tonight.

Dominique Dillingham, Ketara Chapel, and Blair Schaefer all started following Aaliyah (today, I think) on twitter. But, I'll wait until TexasWBB starts following her as that seems to be the major confirmation of something huge . . . :p

How can you tell on Twitter how long they have been following each other? I have been trying to figure this out but can't

If Moore does commit you can only wonder what it means for Sherri. Losing a player of that magnitude that’s in your own back yard could be the final nail.

For me, I think those followers that show up at the top of the page are in descending order (most recent to least recent).

Our 3 most recent admin staff hires (Blair, Ketara, and Dominique) had all started following Rori earlier today (as Rori's page didn't have them following her a day or two ago). Then we got wind of Rori's commitment. When I went back to look this evening, all 3 staff members were now following Aaliyah Moore; but, that wasn't the case earlier today. So, to me, they started following Moore this afternoon/evening.

Dionnah Jackson started following Aaliyah like a day or two after Vic was hired; she had also started following Charli, Celeste, and other things Texas that day.

Johnnie Harris started following Aaliyah a day or two ago, if my memory is working at the moment.

So, basically, I guess it comes down to how consistently you view who's following whom, and how good your memory treats you . . .

Mine used to order with the most recent followers at the top but now it just seems random.

Moore has long been followed by Texas WBB.

If Vic wants to add another player with guaranteed immediate eligibility for 20-21, it’d have to be a grad xfer(or freshman). There are only 5 grad xfers left in the portal: (all info found per Raoul)

BGSU- Caterrion Thompson, 5’10 G
ELON- Jada Graves 5’9 G
UNM- Bride Kennedy-Hopoate 6’4 F
UNC- Olivia Smith- 6’0 G
STAN- Dijonai Carrington- 5’11

I don’t think we are currently recruiting any of them, Carrington and Graves are the best.

If we are seeking another transfer this off-season, these are the ten best remaining in the portal in my opinion: (class listed for 20-21 season)

ARK- A’Tyanna Gaulden 5’7 Sr. G
UM- Taylor Mikesell 5’11 Jr. G
DUKE- Azana Baines 6-1 So. G
MINN- Destiny Pitts 5’10 Sr. G
UNLV- Isis Beh 6’3 So. F
OREG- Lucy Cochrane 6’5 So. C
RUTG- Nola Peleg-Pelc 5’7 So. G
TEMP- Marissa Mackins 5’8 Jr. G
VT- Dara Mabrey 5’7 Jr. G
WISC- Niya Beverley 5’7 Sr. G

Pitts, Mackins, and Mikesell are the best.

Am I missing anyone?

Other than Tina Thompson, none of the recent Texas coaches were really all that active on social media so I don’t know if this level of activity is something we just need to acclimate to or if it means something but...

Moore appears to have a quick, confident stroke. And a face up rather than a post up game. The biggest take-away is her mobility and power. I think she would fit in well with Harmon pushing the ball on the break and Moore and Gaston filling the lanes. No one would get in their way.
