When did she commit to auburn?Guess we lost Nelia Peralta to Auburn now. That one stings a little, she could rake.
If you look at her commitment timeline, it was Feb before we realized that everything would be cancelled AND players would get a bonus year. Not surprising with the large number of her (ex) class and the number of returning players. Texas is on the rise whereas Auburn is stuck in the upper, but not top-tier. But, maybe better chance at realistic playing time.Well hopefully Mike White can flip another recruit to replace her or it might not even be necessary. Since we do have a big class with players who are very versatile. Best of luck to her but it's a new time in Texas and the train is not stopping
Bummer.Lost the commit of Allie Clements to Stanford.
Anyone know who is ranked the highest? I saw Holmes at #24 so is she highest rated of our recruits?
Okay great, when the newest rankings come out could you please let me knowStill have the last 3 to be ranked in the newest listings.
When I was looking at Impact Gold's twitter account yesterday, I noticed that they had several players ranked close to Holmes, including 2 players who were committed to programs like Wichita State and SFA. Not sure if we recruited them, or if they have specific reasons for their verbal commitments; but, I'm hoping we might look their way if we are trying to replace the decommitments of Perralta and Clements.
These are the rankings out of the entire country correct? So Simpson is ranked #4 in the country and Maloney & Scott are 7 in the country etc...Ashton Maloney Ranked tied for 7th Hit .527 last summer, bunch of extra base hits.
Mia Scott ranked tied for 7th. Hit .576 11 homers 55 SB.
Sophia Simpson tied for 4th. 24-3 record last summer 1.25 era and 278 strike outs.
Looks like this class truly will be special. Bunch of speed, athleticism, and some power. Not sure how the power will translate on our field, but at a minimum have some gap to gap power for some 2Bs/3Bs.

We are just missing the announcement from Sophia Simpson. Everyone else has signed & the Texas softball account made the announcement for everyone that has signed so far.
