I think he is an Oklahoma lock. His girlfriend Jayda Coleman who is an OU softball player basically confirmed it and I honestly believe that is the reason he decommitted. He will see come Saturday where OU is headed.

Well I think he can but after a disappointing season last year that really hurt and our 2021 class is not very good compared to years past. Now we need to have a great year this season to help our 2022 class. Quinn Ewers committing will help our 22 class but the main goal is to keep him committed. I get very nervous anytime a player commits very early such as Bowman and as well as Sanders. Hopefully Sanders stays committed but keeping Ewers committed should be the biggest focus.

He is already getting some ou picks. And I had preciously posted above about his gf going there (she is softball)
It's turning into a shitshow, even if we beat them (ou is very beatable this season)
I am not sure I even want to keep on keeping up with it all, especially when idiots are allowed to run free in here without repercussion.

Urban Meyer killed Herman on TV last Sat on development/NFL, I'm sure if the recruits didn't see it, other teams sent them the clips. I wouldn't be surprised to see more of this unless we go on to win Big 12 ship which seems impossible after watching last 2 weeks.

Cant blame Bowman for following a girl. I sure made my mistakes with girls at that age. Everything else he says is just an excuse.
 
So Oklahoma is 0-2. Texas could be 2-0 (or 0-2) though but is 1-1. Sooners leading? What gives with Bowman?

Our 2022 class has highest rated prospect since VY (or close). I’m giving up on this class. Texas wins conference, misses final 4. Stomps SEC team in bowl game. LSU please. Herman knows his job is on the hot seat.

One of the big sells against us now, used by teams across the country, is that
(1) The group in Austin does not develop the top high school players, or
(2) Help them get drafted
Whereas the SEC does get tons of players drafted

Well you have to admit they have a point. It is unfortunate but that is the way it has been at Texas for awhile.

Thanks for the the follow up, but still baffles me that Aggie hasn’t done crap this year or previous, yet the all mighty SEC carries enough clout the allow Aggie to ride Bama’s coattails. Perception is everything.

I think it does cost them some on this front, and that problem is increasing for them. But we have the larger immediate problem in this specific area

I dont know the answer to this so will ask.Has aggie more 1st round picks than we have the last 10 years? I think they have. Its hard to dis the SEC to recruits when they put more people in the NFL. If a recruit is looking just at that it is hard to compete. I know that is not the only reason to pick a school but it seems that we start in a hole with recruits. You dont see many .recruits that bleed orange.

For guys not being realistically recruited by Bama, LSU, UGA or Florida, aggy isn't a bad plan E. Mediocre program but still provides adequate media exposure in a conference that puts lots of players in the NFL.
