I agree she will beat out Adams for the spot. She did do a great job this past weekend, I’m just hoping someone outside of Miranda and Shea will be able to provide quality relief against the OU/Bama’s of the world and not just the lower tier competition we started with.
 
Texas stays at 6 and gets jumped by FSU, which beat the former #1 Alabama twice this last weekend.

I don’t trust these guys. I read the reviews and nothing but complaints about misleading information and and a big hassle to get your credit when you cancel the account! All the games will be broadcast via radio on texassports.com. I’ll have my headset on!

Flosports is absolutely ridiculous! $150.00 a year alone blows my mind. How have they not figured out that 90% of people don't want a yearly subscription. They only want to be able to watch there team for a weekend or have the subscription for a couple weeks depending on the team. How about we all come up with a sports streaming service and charge reasonable prices.

I've have friends who tried ESPN+ and were unhappy with the confusion in signing up and the billing (to follow women's basketball). When they tried to get a refund, they could get the year back, but not the month even though they never could get it working for them.

I mention ESPN+ because two away games are prime candidates for ESPN+, OU and Iowa State. One OU game is definitely going to be ESPNU, but no mention of the other two. The old days of hoping to catch "SoonerVision" or "BaylorVision" are gone.
 

Alabama started 1-3, being ranked #1. We play them in a few weeks at their place. Talk about Elish starts at the 21:00 mark.

I wish espn+ would take over these softball tournaments/games instead of flosoftball. I still fail to understand why the only option is to purchase the yearly plan. Espn+ is not the best neither but it is much more simple and price is great.

I agree Jacob, but of course the issue of money. As long as Flosports outbids ESPN+ they will get the streaming rights. If ESPN ups the bid up goes the ESPN+ price. NBC actually does this with most of their NBCSN productions. For example they will show one day of a track meet on NBC or NBCSN, but if you want to see everything you have to subscribe the NBCSN Gold package for track. The Gold packages go from $45 to $79 per season.
 
Umps cheating Washington vs Bama...Called illegal pitch on Washington twice....Girl drug her foot both times ! Coach came out and apparantly argued the call...was not a happy camper. Announcers even said they would not have called them illegal.

Not sure about nerves. You would think a pitcher who has pitched in HS play-offs wouldn't have those kinds of nerves. She not only missed the zone..she was like the wild thing before glasses....Had she missed the zone by inches, I'd say surely nerves...
Wasn't she injured last year ? Maybe the injury has greatly affected her. Whatever it is....She couldn't hit the broad side of a barn.
 
Kaitlyn Washington with a bonehead running mistake on second and ran us out of inning on a shot to LF that she got doubled up on. This field must be huge because no balls are coming close to going out.
 
Utes score on a tailor made double play that would of got us out of the inning, they called an error on slack probably should of ben caught by Washington at 1b.

Ripped the heart out of Utah! Can you imagine the let down the Utes feel! Love this team!
 
Awesome win for the horns today! They could not string together much offense in the first 6 innings. Rallied. In the 7th inning to steal the win. Adams pitched well in relief for O'leary who gave up 3 walks and 4 hits.
Btw. If you go to the texassports.com and click on the softball schedule then go to the team they are playing, you have to click on preview to be able to see the link to live stats. Hope that helps if you want live updates.
 
Thought from watching the Utah game:

- Bad ABs from last year are creeping back in some. Just swinging at the first "hitable" pitch instead waiting and looking for a pull you can drive.
-Jefferson is far and away our best player. Makes difficult plays look routine. Always has good approach at the plate. Very heady player. Should be on USA national team.
- Washington would get more playing time if she had more softball intelligence. Makes some mind boggling decisions at times.
-Ellsworth, Rhodes, and Day need to be more patient in the box.
-Slack is our best defensive short stop outside of a couple errors. Makes pretty good reads on tough ground balls. Glad she hit a home run but hope this doesn't lead to her getting more at bats than necessary.
- O'Leary though a rough start still looks better than last year.....if that's possible.
 
Will update once Sunday's games are over. Also, games against Team USA and Team Mexico are considered exhibition and not counted on any team's record.

Definitely going to crack top 5. I don't think we'll move up to #2, but I'd guess up to #3 is possible. I'm betting #5 with UCLA (#1), Washington (#2), OU (#3), Arizona (#4), and Texas.
 
White have not settled on a lineup yet. He has the problem of keeping all that talent happy. I think he has done a great job so far,

Washington is the biggest problem puzzle piece. We know she is a liability as an outfielder making routine plays an adventure. Her error at 1st base almost cost us the Utah game. Looks like she does not fit anywhere as a position player.

We need her bat in the lineup, so I wonder if she will be our DP.

It's a dilemma for Coach White, for sure, but it Washington's bat more valuable than Elish's? We know we don't want Miranda playing in the field ;-)
