2020 Recruiting - WBB

Elyssa Coleman took her second official visit this past weekend to San Diego State.

I'm guessing this coming weekend is our BIG official visit weekend, so we'll see if she and/or others are in town.

Interesting that the San Diego State assistant coach hinted at a commit this weekend. I wonder if she’s the player that committed during their visit.
 
Not sure what's going on with SDSU, but they seem to be in on a lot of kids from state of Texas. Perhaps an assistant coach there has some sort of prior coaching stint in the state.

He’s responsible for it, he has ties to a&m. And this is the tweet that I mentioned.

Maybe. He's been there 6 seasons; but, the head coach played at UT-Arlington and she's been there 7 seasons. Just seems like the last couple of years they've started recruiting Texas kids.

Celeste's father commented to her to "enjoy your weekend". Maybe she meant "Austin WHAT'S good" ???? Just a guess.

I’m curious to know how much did the coaching change with the post coach play a role in her decision. That’s why I think it’s either Arizona or Minnesota because she really doesn’t have a relationship with Terry Nooner.

Nice article. Like Ashley's attitude. Confident and hard working. Coach Jamie Carey seems to be making an impression. Chevalier said "Coach Jamie from Texas drew me in with her passion, this feeling that together, our energies could win a NCAA title together as a team." Celeste, in the “Get to Know...” segment with Charlie named “Coach Jamie” as her favorite longhorn because Jamie is “intense and energetic”.

Unfortunately, I think she ends up at Baylor. It just makes too much sense. The reigning national champions and big 12 champions for I think 7 or 8 years in a row. On top of the fact that her close friend is also committed there and they also have a hole at the PG position.

Those 4 official visitors are the only ones who I believe we are pursuing for 2020; if anyone knows of any other names, please share.
