Couple player comments from Mike Roach of 247 at the UA camp in Dallas --

West Mesquite running back Ty Jordan was unstoppable in one-on-ones and 7v7 drills today. Jordan exploits space well, and he’s incredibly dynamic with the ball in his hands. Jordan’s explosive ability plays well at both running back and in the slot. Jordan has some of the best acceleration in-state, and his top speed is hard to match.

Arlington High ATH Jahari Rogers was one of the best defensive backs on the field today. Rogers played both inside and outside, and he showed off explosive burst and oily hips. Rogers’ quick feet allowed him to transition through breaks and burst downhill. Rogers has the length desired at cornerback, and he’s gaining more confidence with time at the position.

Something from Gabe Brooks of 247 at the Under Armour Camp in Dallas

ALPHA DOG - PRINCE DORBAH
Dallas Highland Park 2020 edge defender Prince Dorbah, a four-star prospect on the industry-generated 247Sports Composite, was dominant during 1-on-1 competition. The athletic pass-rusher was simply too quick off the ball and too fast in general for the offensive tackles who faced him. He bends with relative ease and gets around the edge naturally, running the arc as you would hope a pass-rusher of his caliber would. Dorbah, who's coming off a 20-sack junior season for the Texas Class 5A Division I state championship team, measured 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, but was one of the most impressive prospects on the hoof at Sunday's event. He's accustomed to playing an odd-front end in a four-point stance, but could fit an even-front weak-side end or a standing edge player in college, depending on scheme. Dorbah owns more than a dozen offers and is ranked No. 11 nationally among 2020 weak-side ends, as well as No. 37 overall in Texas for his class.

NEXT FIVE DEFENSE - JAHARI ROGERS
Arlington (Texas) High School 2020 athlete Jahari Rogers has been recruited on both sides of the ball and owns 20 offers from schools nationwide. On Sunday, Rogers played defense, showing his skills in the secondary. Rogers showed why a number of schools view him as a cornerback, a spot where his length makes him particularly intriguing. Rogers shows encouraging fluidity and lateral athleticism for a player with a 6-foot frame and length. Rogers is coming off a junior season at quarterback that saw him throw for almost 2,700 yards, 31 touchdowns, and nine INT's, while rushing for more than 800 yard and 15 more scores. 247Sports ranks Rogers as the No. 40 athlete nationally in his class.

More Gabe Brooks (247) at the Under Armour Camp in Dallas on the offensive side

TOP FIVE OFFENSE - TRENT PULLEN
The most consistently dominant offensive line performance came from 2020 three-star Trent Pullen, a standout lineman with potential position versatility from Connally High School in Waco, Texas. Pullen has tackle experience, but manned the guard spot throughout Sunday's 1-on-1's, which he pretty much owned against whoever went against him. Pullen showed good short-area lateral agility and impressive phone booth strength once locked on his target. The 6-foot-2 1/2, 275-pounder was in serious contention for Alpha Dog. Pullen owns a dozen offers, including seven from P5 schools. Baylor owns the two 247Sports Crystal Ball forecasts made to date in Pullen's recruitment.

MYLES PRICE
A name that kept popping up as a standout during skill-position work was The Colony (Texas) High School 2020 athlete Myles Price, who repeatedly got open and made plays while lining up from the backfield and the slot. The 5-foot-9, 165-pounder has also been recruited at cornerback, and his natural football instincts and playmaking ability were on display during Sunday's camp. Price gets open with relative ease and can do damage after the catch. He owns 11 offers to date, reporting offers in the past month from Texas Tech, Colorado, Arizona State, and North Texas.

Here is part of what Inside Texas says about the -5star RB Kendall Milton visit

" .... 3. Kendall's third factor was depth chart. We all know the depth chart is about as enticing as a "football school" can have. He would play a significant role day-one at Texas on what would be a championship caliber offense.

I asked him why he and his mother stayed through Sunday and he said, "Yeah we stayed there for two days and it was just to be able to get a deeper vision on the program."

The Miltons are going to go about the process intelligently. Like with Zach Evans the best you can do is jockey for position and be in the top group when it gets to crunch time. Texas is in fine position as of now. Let's see if they can get the Miltons back when Kendall's father, Chris, can make the trip. My feeling is Kendall holds his father's opinion in very high regard.

Final shot: I think Kendall would have been a USC kid if the Trojans weren't in the tank. That could portend good things for Texas like it did with Bru McCoy...."

This is the same guy who was tearing it up on the film running as a QB. Sounds like he's also a star on defense. Looks like a take to me. The challenge--parents are OU people if I recall correctly.

They run across some hostiles under the bleachers at a track meet; the short guy: "What are you looking at? Don't make me kick your ***. You're lucky my three friends here are holding me back."

My first thought about that little guy is If I had to choose which one of those guys were the toughest, I'm going with him.

One of the toughest guys I ever met was this little Hispanic kid who was about 5'0 ft tall, he was a wrestler and went to state 4 straight years in his weight class. No body, and I mean no body messed with him. That kid has the eye of someone like the kid I knew. All I can say is respect that young man.

We are looking at St Louis again -- this time 3 players from Lutheran North

2020 LB/DL Antonio Doyle (6'4, 230) Plays LB and is now being followed by Todd Orlando. Maybe headed to the DL.
2020 ATH Itayvion Brown (6'3,210) - He's a respectable .8850 on the composite but he's a fun one to project. Plays WR and OLB, received offers for both. Maybe a Michael Henderson replacement. He's a wide kid that could go weigh 240, and quick off the line.
2021 DE Travion Ford (6'4,215) - Has offers from Bama, LSU and aggy. Would be a B-backer in this scheme.

Demond Demas supposedly was measured at 6'1+ in the camp. He has been listed at 6'4 for a long time. Here he is close to Javonne Shepherd who is 6'6
