2020 Recruiting - Football

Who all is announcing on Saturday? Collins announcing between us and OU right? Anyone else we have a shot at?

Rivals has Collins to OU - Hope Ketch is wrong...
 
Bijan is not frail.

The chiseled Texas-bound back measured in at 5-10 ? and weighed 212 pounds and looked chiseled. Robinson had 30 ¾-inch arms and 9 ?-inch hands and Texas is getting an extremely well put-together back. (All American Bowl)

So he has increased his weight by 8-10 lbs. and still looks to be extremely low body fat.
 
The Fong thinks there is a good chance Collins ends up a 5-star
He says us and ou are "recruiting him the hardest" and thinks Texas/ou/Bama have led at different times.
They say Collins will OV to Bama in Jan- which is not good -- but he still has all of his in-homes left (I think)
And both 247-Roach and TFB are still saying they think he’s leaning our way

Jones is thought of a great DFW recruiter (if so, names to watch are Camar Wheaton, JoJo Earle, Ishmael Ibraheem, Shemar Turner, Byrd & Blackshire and other Duncanville players, maybe QDavis)

Here is the update from the Bama247 on Collins -- correcting some of the above about an OV

From Hank South--More on Alfred Collins from an Alabama angle:
Alfred Collins says he's still hearing from Alabama consistently. Talking to Brian Baker and Jeff Banks. Expect Nick Saban out to Bastrop next month at some point. Interesting note: his family is talking about making an unofficial visit out to Tuscaloosa in January (he already used his OV in September).

Roach tends to be conservative with his recruiting takes. Which often makes him late to the party, but also more accurate. In this case, he seems pretty convinced. Personally I thought Gibbs film was good. I guess we will soon know what Yurcich thinks of it.

You are not the only one! I thought he would be excellent with Bijan in the backfield. I know Yurcich has a lot of things on the table right now, but I hope he makes Gibbs a priority.
