You can lead the horse to water....if there are no leaders that immerge...the COACH has to have a keen sense (not a TOM HERMAN-MENSA trait of being able to think on his feet, he will want to look at the numbers and bring everyone in the room and talk about the numbers) a GOOD coach would have meetings with the captains and make sure they were LEADING their teammates....meaning: encouragement, support, pressure...etc....

MENSA or not, this dude's making fun of the Missouri QB's hoisting of his suspenders still sticks out in my mind as a horrifying foreshadowing of what we were dealing with.

I may be in the minority here but I think a person in a high-profile position should conduct themselves with a proper respect for the office—and respect for those who have come before and set a good example.

Did they perform on the field? Absolutely, but I have said for over two months that we had a problem in the locker room. No one would identify the problem, but more importantly no one tried to get it resolved. Results? Transfers, fuel for negative recruiting, & decommitments.

My understanding was Texas never went after Kim Mulkey as Women's basketball coach because she didn't fit the University of Texas image......So why is Chris Del Conte and the regents going to tolerate this public behavior from Tom Herman ? Especially since this isn't the first time he has shown poor judgement as a representative of this University. Is there not a professionalism clause in his contract ???? If so, maybe we can get out of this extended contract.

I choose to give Herman benefit of the doubt here. Probly is some kind of joke.

If I was Thompson I would be upset at the lack of playing time. Thompson may be as good as SE or better. We don't know because he does not play. He could be a Joe Burrow.

NOT a joke if others can take this and play it repeatedly with their own narrative....just say'n….

conduct one self as if everyone is watching....especially when you are being paid $6 MILLION AMERICAN DOLLARS a year to do so....your family's happiness might be in the balance....
