The problem is that the Republican Senate is not in the bag yet.

This feeling that Biden is controlled by the extremes is projection from the right. AOC, Sanders and their ilk are powerful in the Democratic party but that power has waned since Biden won the party nomination and was further muted with the R house gains and the Senate results.
Biden has been handed a difficult deck to manage from his left and right.

This was one of several issues Joe equivocated on. It's hard to ever know what he actually believes in or plans to do. Like Nancy said, you have to elect him to see what he actually stands for.

If this projection holds and Biden is officially the next POTUS, the DNC and far left will have cheated in collosul and unprecedented series of ways to win.
We'll see what happens. I think Biden made more than a Freudian slip with his fossil fuel comments. It's one thing to try to mitigate the problems (reduce flaring, increase compliance monitoring, increase controls around line hits etc.) and quite another to put fossil fuel companies out of business (in an accelerated manner) which I know for a fact is the agenda of activists here in Austin. They are gaining traction because they viciously call people out as murderers or evil and nobody knows how to counter that kind of rhetoric. AOC has no problem talking like that.
Trump's gift was that he was unaffected by the zealots calling everyone Nazi's and evil monsters. That is what it takes to beat them back. You have to be balsy enough to do it and it takes a certain kind of personality. Not Pence. Trump. Because that's what they asked for by acting that way.
In the most important decision of his campaign, he selected the most extreme leftist in the Senate for his running mate. That is not the mark of a centrist.

He needed a female person of color. She was most qualified and gave hom the best chance to win. Do you think Pence did anything other than solidify Trump's cred with the White Evangelical base?
He "needed"? By what law or edict? You mean he backed himself into a corner trying to be "woke" and basically eliminated 90% of the potential candidate pool. Stupid move. And Kamala wasn't the "most" qualified if you're a centrist candidate. Kamalas record is anything but.

Without an audit, half the country will never concede it was an honest election. Which is not good for the long term prospects of the country
My take is that Kamala was political payback for black support and identity politics.
Pence has the same political philosophy as Trump. He only lacks the intoxicating blunt talk personality.
He “needed” a person of color to satisfy the extreme leftists in the party that push identity politics. I understand thats politics. But its also evidence that he will be controlled by the left wing extremists in the party. The only thing that will moderate Biden at this point will be a Republican Senate.

The VP pick is about building a constituency, complementary to the top of the ticket. Yes, as a centrist he needed to bring his far left into his base, just as Trump pulled the far right into his base.
Again this is categorically false. Soros has nothing to do with any of the voting machines or software. You know, it would really help your arguments if you can back them with facts instead of pure fiction.

This is a fantastic idea. Trump should do nothing for the next 4 years except tour the country doing rallies.
Ok, keep bringing in the lawsuits with your "evidence" then and take it up to the Supreme Court. Let the evidence speak for itself. Though so far, Trump campaign legal efforts have been rejected by the courts left and right.
Just a friendly reminder that Trump never even accepted the 2016 election which he claimed he won in a "landslide" and that all the popular votes that Hilary won over him were "fraudulent". He requested a commission to investigate, which soon got disbanded, because they couldn't find anything! Nada!
