2020 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

There is a 50% chance Trump wins in a landslide because Black and Latinos stay home or vote for Trump. No one likes Biden or Kamala. With COVID and the economy improving, last night may be Biden’s last good day.

Just like the Devil himself....
The Democratic Party claims to be light as it brings about darkness veiled in "light" while accusing the other side of what they have wrought themselves. Create problems then offer yourself as the solution.
Been going on since creation and we will soon see if man has enough discernment remaining to see through the smoke show.

The stunning thing is how Trump's personality has provided cover for the most radical Democrat party ever. The brazen (looting with confidence) bravado over open borders, reparations, anarchy on the streets and trillions of dollars of tax increases is mind-blowing to me.

All because Donald won't tone down the tweets. His manner has offended too many people who are so desperate to have a dignified President that they have turned off their brains.

I still feel sorry for him being used as he is
And angry at the people who are using him
and bewildered by people who would vote for this travestry because they do not like the personality of someone who has done so much real good for our country and the people including minorities

Back to my comments about Black and Latino turnout. They don’t follow the warped emotions of the elite class.

The irony of Trump is that his FU attitude opened the door for the Left. They are hiding behind those who just want happy talk. Yet at the same time, Trump is the only person around it seems who is willing to stand up to them. He is unafraid. Unaffected. And that's the only way to deal with totalitarians. You can't negotiate. You have to accept that they are convicted and consumed by their pathology and the only answer is just to say no and to ridicule them into oblivion. So he stands tall because of his fearlessness yet is simultaneously weakened by it.

I don't know how good he has been for our country other than his Supreme Court picks. That is all I care about at this point because I think they will keep the extreme Left where it belongs. Too many Sotomayor's would mean game over. But what Trump tapped into was a vast network of people who were fed up with the vile Left. And it was as if they said, "We don't care if it gets rough. Now is the time to shove it back at them."

You are only looking at a slice of the population. Big election win would disprove this. Latest poll in WI shows a tie (meaning a likely Trump win). I honestly see Biden losing 5-10 points between now and Election Day. Likely 5 points as I tend to extrapolate beyond the endpoint.

When the average college students think that socialism is better than capitalism, you have to think that college is not making our kids smarter but dumber.

I'm not sure that grads are dumber per se, but some research has shown that they believe falsehoods about their political opponents more than those who didn't go to college. Link.

Confirmation bias gets worse with higher education levels.

My daughter went to Old Dominion Univ in Virginia. When she was in school she would spew extreme liberal BS all the time. Of course I would call her out on it and asked where she was getting her diluted ideas from. Of course she told me other students and her professors. Thank god she graduated 4 years ago and has grown up and now thinks for herself.
I did question on whether it was good for her to be in school quite a few times like you say.
