2020 Presidential Election: let the jockeying commence

Except that the only thing verified in Travis County is still that you live in the precinct. Phone number does not enter into the equation nor did it ever appear on the original registration 20-some odd years ago...
Constitutionality of the Executive Orders aside, I have to say that DJT played it well...
The Dems are now in a position of attempting to litigate AGAINST an effort to actually HELP the American people who are still reeling from the 'rona shutdowns...
It highlights perfectly that the left really does not care to get the job done, especially with the claims that they were in recess for the next month or so. It allows Trump to create more commercials in blue collar areas that trend blue that will show he TRIED to do something for them...and now requires the left to figure out how to craft a statement that tells those same voters that nothing should be better than what Trump signed off on.

I know very little . I block walk for the GOP here in Collin County. The Republicans have data bases showing each residence and occupants and IIRC whether they voted in the last election and or primary. When we block walk we only stop at known GOP households.
The info available made leaps and bounds in 18 over say 12
So I am guessing it is even more detailed and accessible in 20

For block walking, sure...it is easy to track by an address. But that is different from having cell phone contacts or even email. I know where my Trump spam comes from (purchase through the website). But even THAT campaign doesn't text me...

The Trump campaign has been making claims that rival candidate Joe Biden isn’t fit to debate, has been “hiding in his basement,” and may try to skip the debates so as not to embarrass himself. The Biden campaign has denied these charges and said that Biden is looking forward to the debates and a chance to confront Trump. They had some caveats, though.
“Because of the coronavirus concern, we will need to take extra precautions,” said Biden campaign manager Jen O'Malley Dillon. “Biden will need to wear an extra safe face mask that will cover his entire face. And while wearing it, his voice might sound different -- even have a different accent -- but that’s just because of... the mask.”
Dillon said that Biden should easily trounce Trump in the debate. “I think you’ll be surprised at how well he does,” she added. “It will be a totally different Biden than you’ve come to expect. But that will be Joe Biden up on that stage -- just unidentifiable behind a mask and sounding different and much more coherent.”

Biden should tell him to debate himself or put a mirror up and talk to himself. Or better yet, put up a television and have him ad lib remarks to whatever is on.
Or better yet, let him appear on the Springer show where he can converse with others of his own mental capabilities.
As for Biden, he got the nomination of his party as a gift from a bunch of old black ladies in south carolina. If he wins he will probably recite Lincoln's second inaugural address.

When someone refers to the President Of The United States with a childish insult based on ********, it's hard to take that person seriously.

Of all the options available, Biden picks one who was involved in corrupt prosecution and policing that primarily hurt low-income minority communities. Her record as district attorney represents everything the left is moving against right now. If she was a conservative VP pick instead, she'd be one of the most hated people in America in blue states.
Well, since the country is so racist, even white liberals will have to vote for Trump because all white people are racist. How could they stand the thought of her becoming president when Biden resigns.

It does seem like an odd pick under the circumstances
Maybe they feel like they already have the anarchist/commie vote sealed up (lol) so they are going for a law & order look?
I'm sure the Trump campaign is preparing the ads with her excoriating Biden at the "debates" and of course her hypocrisy throughout the Kavanaugh hearings.
44 men have served as POTUS. Of those, 9 (20.5%) failed to complete the term to which they were elected, thus moving the sitting VP into the White House. I for one am terrified by the possibility of Kamala Harris becoming POTUS if Joe is elected and doesn't complete his term.
I'm terrified of his being elected. I bet he would step down inside 6 months to allow who they really want to be president, which is Harris.
