It takes a high average to do that! Maybe not the highest, but a very high one.Not sure about average but that would move us from 10th to 4th in 247 composite rankings with only 18 recruits.

So I did the math and we would have a star average of 92.52. That would put us third behind Georgia with an insane 93.86 and Alabama with a 92.94It takes a high average to do that! Maybe not the highest, but a very high one.
VY, I’m with you on the 40 time as a concern. In the past it was all hand timed, and everyone ran a 4.4. There are certain camps, mostly invite only that have an electronic system set up. When you look at say 247, it will say verified times. This means no human element involved, verified on that day as... doesn’t mean he can’t run a 4.4 consistently.I don't mean to be negative, but if he is only 180 pounds, he doesn't look as fast or shifty as a back that size would need to be. Maybe he has deceptive speed, because his running style is a smooth legato instead of staccato, if you get my point, but among the hundreds of amazing RB highlight reels we look through, with all of them having TD after TD, I wouldn't necessarily remember this one.
He has very nice balance and strength, and just enough speed on each play to make it work.
Now I am googling it, and his 40 time is listed as 4.62. I know he must be a player, but does that concern you?
in the Universe even!If true, Texas will likely have highest star average in nation.
Wiltfong also put in a CB for Plano S Tyler Owens (6'2,202) to Texas
Tyler Owens, Plano East, Safety
. Just think where we will be if we get those two to #7 then add Trey asanders and Bru McCoy (fingers crossed).Tyler Owens got a huge rankings bump today.
Now a composite 4-star and in the 247 top 100
As pointed out in posts way back, he is a freak
Owens + Gbenda in the calculator = #7 class, just sayin
It’s very debatable, and possibly counterintuitive. Winning early may not matter. Just improve. The kids we are recruiting believe they will be the difference. The stats are simple, winning doesn’t matter as much as most think.Just keep winning and everything will work itself out.
19 TDs in five games
Maybe not, his trainer tweeted this ... but who knowsWell, ****. I guess that confirms the rumor. Aggy was said to be his 2nd favorite before his commitment to Texas.
