2018 Senate (& House)

If Roy Moore is not running right now, Franken is hosting SNL next weekend, taking a victory lap on Kimmel, Maher & PBS and would be in the Senate another 4 or 5 terms.
It's so unashamedly transparent. The Dems just nominated a freaking Clinton for POTUS less than a year ago.

They turned on Franken at the same exact moment they realized which polls in Alabama were accurate. It was that simple.

Franken did not apologize to anyone on his way out
He did talk about himself a lot
And he took some gratuitous shots at Trump and Moore, as if him being forced out is their fault, not his

As far as history goes, besides being a perv, Franken’s other legacy will be his 225-vote victory in 2009 wholly off illegal voting by convicted felons, that gave Dems their crucial 60th senator

No Franken —> no Obamacare —> the entire course of US political and economic history changes.

The facts: Dems pushed out Franken and Conyers. Pelosi deserves to be criticized for initially defending Conyers but in the end they did what was right.

Already eating their own. Pelosi demanded this Dem Rep resign over a 2016 sexual harassment allegation he still claims was false. Striking back...

Democrat Lawmaker Claims Pelosi Knew About Sexual Harassment Allegations Last Year, yet Still Campaigned for Him

Rep. Ruben Kihuen’s (D-NV) former campaign finance director, who only identified herself as Samantha, accused the Democrat lawmaker last week of inappropriately touching her and pressuring her to have sex with him on the campaign last year despite her rejecting his advances.

Pelosi called on the 37-year-old freshman lawmaker to resign Saturday, following Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) Chair Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (D-NM) in calling for Kihuen to resign.

But Kihuen told ABC News that Pelosi knew about the allegations since last year, and still offered to campaign for him.

“They looked into them. They didn’t find anything, and they continued investing millions of dollars in my campaign,” said Kihuen. “They went out there and campaigned for me.”

Spokespersons for Lujan and Pelosi denied Kihuen’s statements, even though campaign records show the DCCC invested $3 million in Kihuen’s congressional race in 2016.

Kihuen denied that the allegations against him were true and vowed that he would not resign from Congress.

Although Kihuen maintains his innocence, Democrats are already siphoning off financial support for future campaigns.

The DCCC also removed Kihuen from a 2018 fundraising program designed to support incumbent Democrat representatives.

Franken is far less guilty than Donald Drumpf. The left is right to demand that he resign. Now, the right needs to hold their offenders accountable. I'd like to have a list of ALL who've had to settle claims in Congress out of that fund and have them all removed.

Aren't Menendez's allegations related to corruption and not pedophilia? He had a mistrial, right? I don't remember him being cleared but the trial got hung up somehow.

I'm not familiar with that but I haven't been following Menendez closely. I vaguely remember prostitutes involved but would have to research the case to understand if they were truly underage and ensure this wasn't some typical alt-right invented story. If you're right, he should step down too.

Given the Franken saga I can't imagine he'd be able to weather the fracas if those are actual facts of his situation.

You're confusing actual criminal charges and politically manifested allegations. But don't let that stand in the way of your Salem Witch Hunt. :hookem3:
Moore is as guilty as Baker Mayfield is annoying to other fan bases. That said he'll win that seat because your ilk would vote for a pedophile over a Democratic former US Attorney who prosecuted child killers who were also Nazis. Interesting, huh?

That sounds curiously like the child sex ring that Hillary was running out of the basement of a Pizza shop....that had no basement.
It’s not. Menendez did indeed visit the resort islands off Costa Rica, Honduras, or wherever as a gift from the guy who is the Medicare fraud friend of Menendez.

Not alt-right origin, but from witnesses in the area. Some say they were concocted by Menendez’s political enemies.

That's a far cry from being a pedophile. That said, if you link Menendez so quickly with that guy's crimes you should surely link Trump's affiliation with Jeffery Epstein similarly, right?

Seems like a stretch to me, but, OK, tit for tat...
While Trump has recently distanced himself from Epstein, a 64-year-old financier, it wasn’t always that way.

“I’ve known Jeff for fifteen years. Terrific guy,” Trump said of Epstein during a 2002 interview with New York magazine. “He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side.”

Attorney Spencer Kuvin, one of dozens of lawyers who successfully sued Epstein on behalf of roughly 30 women who claimed he lured them to his Palm Beach mansion for sexually-charged massages when they were as young as 14, said he always found the comment curious.

“How would he know that?” he said of Trump’s acknowledgement of Epstein’s penchant for young women. The interview came nearly six years before Epstein’s secret sex life exploded into public view when the money manager pleaded guilty to Florida charges of procuring and soliciting a minor for prostitution. “Why would he make a joke like that?” the West Palm Beach attorney asked.

I don’t know why you keep calling Moore’s allegations as pedo. Post puberty is not pedo.

The Dems obviously have a problem when they can’t beat a guy that has “suddenly” become a pedaphile 40 years after the alleged incident, but contemporaneously with his run for a Senate seat. Can you guess the problem? That’s right, Democrats are not above fabricating the most outlandish bull—— to enable their thieves to gain political power. It seems as though voters have grown tired of your stories, The Dem playbook doesn’t change. Their economic policies continuously fail as expected, so that strategy is out. Now it is:
-you’re a racist
-you hate women
-your policies will hurt children or elderly or whoever the latest liberal mascot tends to be.

You’re just not believable anymore, but it’s very entertaining to see you goobers get caught in your own webs.

Having my own 14 year old daughter, I quibble over your splitting of hairs here.
No, I think you are doing it on purpose to be more incendiary and partisan. It feeds the suspicion by his voters that Moore is being set up. Per usual, Dems go too far which backfires on them.

Sounds like one of the Moore accusers is going to admit today that she forged the yearbook thing

Maybe the media will some day learn about hitching their wagons to Gloria Allred?

Does it matter? They'll clearly hold the high ground when Moore gets to the Senate.
Only the truest and bluest of believers will ever think that the Dems have the high ground on any issue of inappropriate sexual behavior after several decades of the Clintons. Forcing Franken out was a transparent and frankly desperate political play.

That's what my bosses in St. Petersberg are putting in the daily talking points, bud.
