That is what I thought, but if he cannot make grades at Alabama; how in the world can he make them at Texas?

A 21-year-old exposed to Alabama and JUCO may come to class with a different attitude. Honestly, there are a lot more people who don't accomplish much in school than there are people too unintelligent to accomplish much in school.

i don't know about y'all, but i knew several guys who failed out of UT. it wasn't because of basic intelligence. growing up really helps a lot of people.
