2016 recruiting

Well there are a few things 2 play here. And I hate to put eggs in the basket of other teams on the 40, but if FB can manage to win in ND that would bode well for us in wbb as well. They will get to not only see how well our fan base travels, but how we can compete an win in some of the greatest places.
 
that is a great story, Moooooo. I really hope that we have a strong shot at landing her. She sounds like the kind of player that the staff is looking to bring in--talented, team oriented, hard worker.

She is going to Texas.......i actually know for a fact that she will be there come next summer, and Richards will be there the following summer.
 
Brittany Brewer has committed to Texas Tech.

Natalie Chou & Ciera Johnson will visit Louisville on October 22. Chou recently visited UCLA officially.
 
Joyner is a program changer. Like Tiffany Jackson/Candice Parkerish type program changer. Atkins and Mcarty as jrs, higgs as a smore and joyner as a frosh would rival anyones roster in the country.
 
Based on the limited video clips I've seen of Joyner, she seems to be cross between Tamika Catchings and Tiffany Jackson; no pressure ;-) on expectations.

No confirmation, but the reason she may have chosen to visit Notre Dame for the USC football game is that she has a friend from Cedar Hill who is a freshman football player for the Trojans. When he made his official visit to USC last Fall, Joyner made an unofficial visit concurrently.
 
On her twitter she said to keep an eye out on her snap chat Saturday...possibly her announcement. I'm just nervous because she just left Tennessee and I always figured ND as a long shot.

I agree, my concern has never been with ND, it's always been with Tennessee. When i commented last week about her visiting ND, it was more about her not committing in Sept, than it was about her visiting there.
 
I actually have been more concerned about Notre Dame than Tennessee. They have had so much more success recently than the Lady Vols, and Muffet is a much more established head coach than Holly.

If she does cancel or has cancelled her Notre Dame visit, but her official visit to Texas is still on the schedule, then I take that as very positive news.

Saw a tweet today that states Joyner will be attending the John Lucas 40/40 Elite Camp on September 5-6. Perhaps that has something to do with her snap chat.

You're correct, interms of on the basketball court ND has a lot more to offer than both UT's. Not to mention the academic reputation that they have. But for whatever reason I just have never gotten the feeling that she was seriously into ND. Again, i don't know anymore than anyone else does. Also, you're right about the 40/40 camp,there was a tweet that I saw about a month ago that said she had agreed to go to the camp.

Her UT official was scheduled for Sept 18 with Jada and Alecia visiting that same weekend, right?

She's staying in Texas.....if everyone remember, she did say she was going to announce everything in September.

Why are you saying "you believe" kids backed out? The reason why I called you Skilledup is because that's the name you use on the baylor board. And on that board you give conflicting information, not only about Joyner but also Didi.

Yep, and that doesn't mean it's Texas. Especially when you consider if she is going to announce where she's going to go this weekend. Because the only school that she's officially visited is Tennessee. By the way, she's going to announce this weekend right, that's what you posted on the baylor board. But instead of saying that you knew for a fact that she was going to Texas, you said it's more than likely that she would choose Texas, and I guess we would see this weekend.

You also said on the baylor board that Didi and the Morris kid from Beaumont were going to go to baylor together. You see why I said conflicting information, basically lying. Which is it Skilledup, is Didi going to Texas as you said, or is she going to bayor like you said. I would advise everyone to not listen to or believe what lewishawks/skilledup says, he is lying and doesn't know what he's talking about.

I read all the boards and get some info from other boards. I also get info from uconn board but no I'm not signed up with Baylor nor uconn board. I have no reason to lie to you about neither kid.

The Joyner information is actually on the boneyard and on Tennessee board which i check a whole lot. I also asked the question about the 40/40 camp earlier this week to a friend.

The Baylor board is way off on what they are reporting on Didi....but hey who am i to tell them they are wrong? The boneyard are even saying she has u conn on her list which isn't true either, again who am i to tell them they are right or wrong.

Again I'm not signed up but just like you i do read other boards.
 
Well, whether Joyner announces this weekend or in late-September, visits ND or not, or attends the camp or doesn't, I think it's fantastic we're in the mix, and among the final few still under consideration. I certainly hope she selects the Horns, and feel our chances are as good as any of the others still in play, but beyond that who really knows what's going on. I'll be thrilled if she chooses Texas, but no less happy with our class if she doesn't. We already have commitments from several top players, and are on the final list for many of the top recruits who've yet to decide (Holmes, Ionescu, Chou, Johnson, Willock). The staff has done such a phenomenal job with these past few classes, I feel confident we'll see just as strong a group for 2016 when all is said and done.

I guess I'm a little skeptical when anyone says they know for certain what a specific recruit is, or isn't going to do. I think someone even posted they knew what Holme's plans were for next summer (and Collier's for the summer after that). It must be nice to have that much inside info! But hey, if things work out in the Horn's favor, I'll be the first to give props to anyone who's insight turned out to be accurate.

Just like i told you would happen......no Joyner here at the 40/40. Nancy, Didi, and Chasity also pulled out. That was the part when i told you i believe 3 more pulled out.
