2015-16 Rankings

Our Tennessee victory doesn't look so impressive now that Virginia Tech has beaten them in Knoxville, too. To be fair, the Vols were down to only seven available players due to a rash of injuries, but the dynasty may be unraveling. They were having trouble well before the injury plague. Based on their actual performance this season, Tennessee should not be ranked 16th in the nation.

ESPNw seems to agree. An article was posted yesterday about Tennessee's issues. I didn't realize they have not signed a single 2016 recruit (2 seniors on roster).

From ESPNw (pretty amazing):
"For the second straight week, Duke (13th), Tennessee (14th) and Stanford (15th) were outside the top 10. Last week marked the first time since the final poll of the 1985-86 season that none of those three women's basketball powers were among the first 10 teams in the poll."

Unfortunately there's not going to be much movement and opportunities for Texas to move up in the polls as most teams wait until the Christmas break to play any opponents of significance.
