There may be some weather delays tomorrow. We’ll see.

Great series win by the Horns over the #14 team in the Nation.

We’re now tied with WV for 2nd in the conference, 2 games behind OU.

The Pokes are a game behind us.

Tomorrow, the heat and the sauce is on the mound. LBJ and Tumis. Control is the only ?

Hudson Hamilton may also see the mound. He's cut from the same pitching cloth as Tumis.

Hurley or Tole if we want more experience in relief.

YES!!! VICKTREE IS OURS!!!!

I promise you OSU is not feeling the same as they were taking a 4-1 lead last night after hitting two home runs. :lmao:

The Pokes don't have a 3rd true starter to put on the mound tomorrow.

We may see some combination of Benge (he also pitches), Cranz, Reid, and even more Moldsky on the mound.

They're just going to try to out-bash us tomorrow.

If some combination of LBJ, Tumis, Hudson Hamilton, and Hurley can keep their score below 5-6 runs, we should tee off on their multiple pitchers tomorrow for the 'W.' And if LBJ is on, they're finished. If Tumis is our #1 guy out of the pen tomorrow, look for him to stay out there 3 or more innings.

Boehm is the emergency switch.

Shirley we can get it done with LBJ, Tumis, Hamilton and close it with Dup and Boehm!! We really need to sweep these guys.

When LBJ and Tumis are on, they're nearly un-hittable. But when they're off, they'll be putting lots of baserunners on via walks, and leaving stuff up high in the strikezone that gets smashed.

Freakin OU isn’t playing anyone. They may go rest of season undefeated. I really wanted that big xII title to go with the softball team for our last season.

The Sooners have 4 conference sweeps to date (UCF, TCU, KSU and BYU) and might complete another one tomorrow, so it’s kind of amazing we’re still within 2 games of them. Losing the series to BYU at home continues to haunt us.

The home series loss to BYU and the home Friday losses in conference in series wins are the difference in the standings with OU. This team still can get to 35 wins in the regular season and be a tough 2 nobody wants in their regional and a sweep tomorrow would go a long way toward that.

May be why Holliday stayed out there so long last night. He doesn't have anyone else.

Looking at the avg.'s this morning:

Not only are 5 hitters above .300 but all 5 are nearly above .350!!! These five should be at the top of the lineup for max production and efficiency.
Thomas .364
Belyeu .358
Schuessler .353
Flores .347
Powell .344

97 homeruns on the season, pretty sure this team will at least hit second all time homeruns in a season.
:clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:

Honorable mention:

Galvan .298

Galvan, Gasparino and Borba should follow with kennedy at 9.

Still very confusing why Pierce kept Schuessler out of the lineup or down the lineup so often until very recently. Kid scored 3 of our 7 runs Friday, if Brown did this he would never pull Brown out and would be top 5 in the lineup. :confused2:

We are better offensively and defensively with Borba in the lineup. Fielding pct, isn't exactly an accurate stat, Brown missed that ball in LF and just because it didn't hit his glove, it wasn't an error, but Gasparino or Belyeu, whoever plays left when Thomas is in CF, would have made that play, i was sitting right in front of Brown and he didn't get a very good jump, didn't see the ball well off the bat.

Let's win the ones we have left and see where we stand when the dust settles.
