This is a big one. The winner is in contention for the Conference title. The loser...probably not.

If Grubbs gets some run support, and we don't have multiple errors in the field, he'll probably get the 'W' in Game 1.

Grubbs has been pitching well. Last game he threw, we had 5 ERRORS. And he gets a lot less run support than the other starting pitchers, presumably because there's a big drop off between the Friday starter and the other starters for most of our opponents.

Not a big-time heat thrower. His fastball is upper 80s/low 90s with some movement/drop to it. Good changeup that he uses frequently. Good control. Shades of Lucas Gordon?

"Samuel Garcia is a 2020 1B/LHP, OF with a 6-3 210 lb. frame... Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength.... pitched utilizing a simple side step to high leg lift delivery. Medium arm circle and released from an extended three-quarters slot. Fastball flashed good jump out of hand with heavy actions through the zone... Slider flashed two planes with tight spin and good sweep to glove side ... Also showed a changeup offering that flashed some run back to arm side in the mid 70's. Consistently attacked the strike zone and effectively changed speeds."

DP ground ball to Flores but Kennedy's throw is off line. Another error from the 2nd baseman.
Our fielders need to stuck f'ing over Grubbs. Routine ground balls should result in outs, not missed catches, not overthrows, etc.

Towering fly ball to end the first outing for OSU. Kennedy needs to get his crap together.

Showing Kennedy at .225 right now. Not bad but I would take a zero avg. with no errors over this. This team only needs a good bunter in the 9 hole.

Sam Garcia with only 10 walks for the season, guys are going to get opportunities to swing the bat, dont leave that bat on your shoulder with 2 strikes.

There's not much to critique about Powell, but he could ratchet it up to another level if he'd hit to the opposite field more. They get him with the shift.

Wondering when he gets tired of this crap and uses the inside out approach to go oppo.
