If this does not improve, I want all those guys that made the case for NCAA being so much better than the NIT to please come back on Hornfans and support their position.
 
Just talked about Barnes said he has to work on fundamentals so much they don't have a lot of time for anything advance because he's still teaching them the game. I don't buy it. Most of the guys with D1 scholarships have been playing basketball since early in elementary school. If they still don't know the ABCs and 123s of the sport yet then either they had a decade of useless coaches - at basketball powerhouse schools, select leagues, elite AAU teams, etc - or else you've recruited the wrong guys.
 
One possession Brown shoots a fadeaway three with a man in his face and plenty of time on the shot clock. Next time down Kabongo passes up an open 10 foot shot and throws a pass right to Cincinnati. What are we doing?

This is maybe the most embarrassing game we've played in the tourney. Barnes just can't coach O. Last 2 years have been painful to watch this offense.
 
Simply an embarrassing performance by a team that looks wholly unprepared. I thought the performance against Temple in 2001 was bad, this makes that team look like sharpshooters.
 
They can't even block out on defense. I don't know how many times I have seen multiple Cincy players just standing under the basket waiting for an offensive rebound.
 
We are not a very good team and it's showing today. Our inside game has sucked all year because we don't have the players, the offense in general is bad because the head coach is clueless and won't do anything to fix it. I saw better offenses during my son's middle school season this year.
 
I agree with the observations that our inside game is underperforming. Missing point blank shots time after time. Really need some in the paint scoring to keep it close.

Unfortunately, not getting it.
 
Damn that was a painful first half to watch. It's a miracle we are only down by 14. We missed about 10 shots from two feet or less. We can still win this game, but we have to cut out the stupid turnovers and we have to start making some shots.

Don't waste your effort trying to watch this pathetic display on the court. 31 - 17 at the half. Horns shooting an abysmal 16% from the field. I knew this game would be tough, but the offense is horrible and it's showing on the defensive end as well.
 
Watching the replay of that late Bearcat dunk - why on earth did Barnes get the idea in his head that it would be a good idea to press on that possession?
 
Perhaps I should call my wife and have her make a sign for the team when it returns to the hotel. /jk. Earlier on the thread, I noted that she's in the same hotel as the team right now.
