Here in the third quarter, Zuel Conoly throws the clearing block for Jackie Field on a 61 yard punt return, giving the ‘Horns a 14-0 lead. Texas went on to win 14-7.
Most of these guys I’m sure had more important work to do after the game wearing different uniforms.
Seems like our chap girls reach peak sassiness in same cycle as our football success: e.g., 2004-2005, 2008-2009. Based on my observations, we should be good for 2019.

Probably best known for ending the college career of Marcus Dupree. Rest assured though Dupree was not the only opposing player to be on the receiving end of a Peavy hit.

Especially since the rules of the day didn't lean towards suspending any player who was even mildly aggressive back there.Peavy and Hagy (another vicious-hitting headhunter type safety) played on the same Longhorn team/same era. You wouldn’t want to be an opposing WR coming over the middle in those years...
