They did, but not enough did before the deadline set forth in the legislation passed by Congress. And 6 states have rescinded their ratifications. It's all BS. Deadlines either matter, or they don't. And there's no reason why a state can't rescind it's ratification, so long as it does so before the amendment becomes law. Somewhat surprisingly, Texas ratified it in 1972 and hasn't rescinded it's ratification.

None on this subject. Tweeting about a 50 year old thing that wasn't ratified doesn't make any sense. I stand by my statement in that within the context of this Congress and Administration and those of the 50 states that exist now, no one voted on anything. The vote failed 50 years ago, let's not act like this is something now.

Yes they DID vote on the very subject. BUT the deadline long since passed. The Amendment WAS proposed. It was not ratified by the deadline.

This move by the Potato-in-Chief's handlers IS a brilliant strategic move because it paints Republicans into the corner of looking like the bad guys. Now the Right has to follow on the claims of supporting women.

BUT, where the handlers failed is they forgot that we now get to properly define female as the only sex class capable of being a woman.

The question is if conservatives will be smart enough to win THIS chess match when they so often act like pigeons and **** the table...
 
Pre-emptive pardons came out. Good news is that #5A protections no longer apply and they can be held indefinitely for contempt. AND the pardon cannot cover perjury post-pardon.

Oh, and they don't cover State crimes. Thus, the moment one of them DOES try to assert #5A protection is precisely the moment arrest on State charges should occur.

Biden doesn't realize, but maybe Jill does, how hosed all those pardoned this morning have now become.

They HAVE to show up...no ability to claim a right to remain silent because, courtesy of the Potato, they have immunity from prosecution at the federal level as of this morning. Failure to show means locking them up for contempt.

Even moreso now that they HAVE to appear and answer under oath without being able to claim 5A protections...

Dems probably okay with **** hitting the fan (the truth) when Trump is president though it happened under Biden or even Obama in some cases.
