The dem dam is breaking. They will likely give him one more at bat. But if he doesn't hit it out of the park, he is done. This will all happen over the next few days. They are going to find it very, very hard to skip over Harris. This will be full on push by dems for "war on women" rhetoric. They've now got one issue....abortion....that they can drive for her. They can't push the "save democracy" agenda as hard because it won't ring true now that the primary winner has been pushed aside by dem power players. It will take just one line from DJT in the debate...."I'm sorry Ms. Harris, exactly which voters voted for you to be here today?"

He's much more left-wing than Lloyd Bentsen was.
 
It's funny how they think an interview with Stephanopoulos will help him regain any ground. I don't think there could be much more of a home-team setting than G.S. on ABC. Talk about your softball interviews. Their next step is going to be Jill Biden conducting and intense one-on-one interview with Joe on the can. "See, he can multi-task"
 
my sense of how this will shake out.... They will replace Biden. They will manufacture a mini-primary to give the selection process a veneer of legitimate democracy, but ultimately they will still go with Harris. Not because it gives them their best shot this time around, but because skipping her really would alienate much of the black and particularly black female vote for several cycles to come. Not to mention the campaign money issue if someone else takes the ticket.

Aren’t they racist if they don’t pick Harris? The liberals are once again inside their own hypocritical fence.
 
Folks, the latest (as of today) buzz is making it look like Joe B will indeed still be the Dems nominee. Probably 67% Joe, 33% somebody else.

In the plan to say he will step down at some point so you are also voting for Kamala? 2 for 1 vote?
 
Biden staying in the race is sadly no surprise. Never an exceptional talent, he has an outsized ego. The regular Joe used to take the train to Baltimore as Vice President, creating a logistics nightmare for the secret service not to mention taking a needless security threat. I echo the calls for him to get out of the race, absent the tush kisses Democratic politicians are doing.
