Well, since the "vaccine" is supposed to be so effective :lmao:at preventing covid, oops, no it isn't, and then lessening the symptoms, uh oh, well, how could that be if a "vaccinated" person may need an ICU bed, why would we have a shortage of ICU beds?

I don't remember a time in my life ever that I was supposed to live my life based on trying to not become gravely ill with a virus so people who spent their entire lives being unhealthy could have a precious bed in an ICU.

Why am I supposes to be concerned with this?

Back to the fantasy of ICUs being overrun with covid people, you still say that the vaccinated person who inexplicably is so ill from covid still gets first dibs?

Because at best, a flu shot is a best guess at the strain du jour. It prevents nothing. Those that get it are HOPING the guess on strain was correct AND that they have the few days available to do nothing because of feeling like crap after the shot.

And yes, it IS another shot I don't and won't get. I'm also coming up on 15 years since my last bout with it, which is the only bout in more than 20 years. My immune system identifies as functioning...

Or...you take steps to have one evac'ed from states that literally have thousands of them available (you know, like Texas).

Coach, I'm just curious. Are you ok with prioritizing health resources based on the pre-illness conduct of the patient in general or just with Covid? For example, if a fat guy and a thin guy come in with symptoms of heart attack, should we automatically put the thin guy ahead because he probably ate more responsibly? If two people who were injured in car wrecks come in, do we prioritize the care of the person who wasn't at fault over the care of the person who was talking on his cell phone, fidgeting with his stereo, or driving drunk?

The answer will again come back to the fact that Coach and others are laying claim to only advocating for this when the ER is so backed up because of the heinous unvaccinated that these difficult triage decisions would have to be made.

ICU’s get filled up on occasion. There are disasters sometimes that lead to this kind of thinking on the ground. I would advocate that general logic be used in rationing in those scenarios. Age and general health are reasonable to use when triaging these scenarios. And, when Covid is involved, due to the vaccine’s documented success dealing with hospitalization and death, that should be a consideration. Please alert me when this takes place.

Yes, the occasional train derailment, plane crash, etc., agreed, triage decisions would be made. But again, if the rona shot is so effective, why would a "vaccinated" person be sick to the point of needing the ICU in the first place? That is where you're losing me. Well, and being a Sooner fan.

And yet we see an appalling LACK of 'general logic' to this whole mandate thing. Follow the science was abandoned in favor of follow the agency that changes as the wind blows. That does not portend well for ANY claim of 'general logic' to rationing. Instead, we get the very death panel situation the left tried claiming more than a decade ago would NEVER occur in the United States.

Was just about to post epoch times article on that Garner but requires a subscription. This sounds unreal. Can anyone say this is normal? 50 years?

You know it seems to me that if following Hippocratic oath and the quoted ‘science’ of susceptible illness the “unvaccinated” should get priority since they are the most vulnerable. But I’m sure I’m missing something.

Again, this is just another example of Switzer (and others like the CDC) talking and acting like the vaccine doesn't work very well.
