Coronavirus

At this point, how big of a dumb *** does a person still have to be to believe that the coronavirus which originated in Wuhan, China, wasn't from the Institute of Virology, which was performing gain of function experiments with bat borne viruses, to make them more contagious, and also coincidently located in Wuhan, China.

Or do you still believe it started when someone ate a bat?

If I drive through Pasadena, Texas, and smell sulfur - it's more than a bit likely it's coincidently from a refinery, not from some bad eggs at the local farmers market.

The level of suspension of all logical belief, to allow for the lemming like followship of Experts!, such as the fraud Fachi is at this point laughable. But please, keep believing it's all from bat soup!

I have no idea where it came from. Care to share your evidence or do you often leap based on wherever your bias takes you?

Well, my head isn't up my ***, nor is it shoved up Fauci's ***. Pretty sure it's more than just a coincidence that a coronavirus that originated in Wuhan came from the shoddy lab where they were studying it and doing experiments on it, instead of being from the local wet market.

You do know that there's still a wet market in Wuhan? If the virus had really come from there, the Chinses would have leveled that place to the ground and paved it over, to avoid another one coming out later. Yet, them seem to have no big problem with it continuing to sell live exotic animals. We're supposed to believe that they don't want to anger people who want to eat a live bat for dinner?

But please, continue to do your party line dancing and downplaying and explaining as more and more evidence comes out. It's a good laugh for the rest of us!

I thought the presumption was a mixing of various species in the wet market. Hell, that just sounds bad.

Conspiracy Bubba says that Russia released it in Wuhan and waited for the world to lock down before releasing the Solar Winds hack in March 2020.

Conspiracy Bubba needs to stop listening to Psychics from the Water Department on late night talk radio rambling on about coronaviruses, and ****

So stupid. Add more beds:

During normal times, the state’s intensive care units would operate at about 68% full, said Scott Bookman, the state health department’s COVID-19 incident commander. Now, though, Colorado’s hospital ICUs are operating at around 90% of capacity, running the risk that they could be overwhelmed if the surge of coronavirus cases continues.

One thing I am curious about. What % of cases are given Ivermectin, steroids, and/or Monoclonal Antibodies? I can't help but think it's low and hospital, deaths could be much lower if we used the treatments available.

You aren’t supposed t make those kind of inquiries. The authorities are experts. Do as they advise….and don’t ask stupid questions which deserve no response.
Looking back, I recall how experts prescribed mercury and leeching to treat ills. Sounds nuts, but these were established protocols. What will historians think 100 years from now when examining what passes for expert protocols today?

LOL!

Ebright mentions it's in the grant document. This article has the grant pdf and has more detail than yesterday's articles we saw.

Newly Released Documents Show NIH Funded Gain-of-Function Research in China: Experts

Are you going to admit that the letter itself did not "admit" gain of function? That was my initial point that you KEEP SIDESTEPPING. Remember this? Even Ebright says the letter didn't say what Dowling is claiming.

A top NIH official admitted in a Wednesday letter that U.S. taxpayers funded gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses in Wuhan and revealed that EcoHealth Alliance, the U.S. non-profit that funneled NIH money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, was not transparent about the work it was doing.

At the very least, even Epochtimes quoted experts on both sides of the issue on whether this is "gain of function".

Jack Nunberg, a virologist and director of the Montana Biotechnology Center at the University of Montana, told The Epoch Times in an email that both viruses use the same receptor protein.

“By keeping to the same receptor protein, I’d label the experiment overly risky (due to the pathogenic backbone and their previous findings of increased virulence in some chimeras) but not blatantly” gain-of-function, he said.

Since the woman writer knew of the grant and what Ebright said that means she didn't deceive anyone. The letter does prove it now that we know more of the background. The letter already proved it to everybody in the know. Watching you trying to weasel out of this is hilarious. Maybe you shouldn't have said Ebright didn't have any evidence.

By the very definition this is gain of function. This "but not blatantly gain-of-function" are weasel words. The virus was modified.
Once again time proves Husker wrong.

FAUCI LIED!

Please quote the letter which proves "gain of function".

If not, no matter how much spinning around like a top and pointing elsewhere proves that what Dowling said is accurate. You can't read between the line and offer some obtuse translations that says up is down to justify what you believed before the letter was issued.

It was obvious to anyone without confirmation bias that Rand caught Fraudci in a lie, which is why Fraudci lost his cool and spoke obvious weasel words.

We're doing a lot of monoclonal antibodies. I hear it's the ****. I mean it's not FDA approved. :)

Last week Andrew McCabe, the former head of the FBI who lied to Congress three times, had his six-figure pension reinstated. All of this was barely mentioned in the press. When Roger Clemons was accused of lying about using an illegal performer enhancement the media was all over it. But now, law abiding citizens are having their livelihoods taken away. Military personnel are threatened with dishonorable discharge and even having to pay back training expenses. What kind of country is this turning into?

Sorry I missed it. Typical Gov't CYA move. Kinda like some on here move goalposts.

We should have a thread with definitions we change to suit our purpose.
