I really don't know how to say it......other than just say it. Most of our key players suck! If they were so talented they wouldn't have went 6-7, 5-7, 5-7, and now 6-6. Charlie was fired for the right reason. He couldn't recruit and couldn't coach. Tom has been asked to make chicken salad out of chicken **** with a broken blender. Tom has the ability to develop players. Tom obviously can recruit players. This hire is a no brainer based on toms past as a oc/hc. Tom is Texas. He knows what he is doing. Wins will become a byproduct of his training/program. Fact!!!!
Also, you have to have elite qb play at all levels of football these days. He haven't had a qb since colt left.
Flashback to year 2 or Charlie we played just about all freshman if you give Herman benefit of the doubt you have to give it to Charlie also. I don’t give it to either of them getting paid 5 million a year no sympathy at all especially when others are able to get something out of there guys look at Connor didn’t he start true freshman he turned out fine. Shane tossed for right under 3k yards last year true freshman and he played with bad ribs and throwing hand most of the year it can be done . Charlie had to deal with Patterson that’s the only okay moments he gets. It’s all about coaching that’s what it comes down to the same emphasis Herman puts on practice he needs to put on coaching if he did that he would have been calling plays for the bulk of the season and we may have won more games.

Charlie couldn’t recurit what???????? That is blasphemy if he couldn’t then say the same for saban urban and so forth and so on because most of those guys in this 2 full cycles had offers from all of those schools now his ability to motivate them and get them ready to play that’s a different story
However, this is toms first year. Let next year play out and see if you feel the same. I have no doubt about what I'm saying. We will NOT be 5-7 or 6-6 next year!!!! At worst 9-3.
Charlie had a top 2 class? Did he also land a five star defensive lineman to us like tom did at Houston? Compared to tom......Charlie was/is horrible. Pure fact my friend! Classes are judged upon graduation. Charlie has a 6-6 class here that we know of. So, yes! Charlie can't recruit!!!!

We haven’t had a class ranked 2nd since Mack Herman hasn’t had anybody sign anything yet. Malik was a 5 star lb Charlie grabbed him also Charlie hasn’t had a full class even graduated yet lmao and classes are not judged upon graduation redshirt and attrition make that hard to do. Classes are judged by ranking at signing day pure facts
Tom got a five star to Houston. Class is ranked 2nd as we speak. When they sign it will be a #1 or #2 class. Tom won a Natty as an oc. Look at the players he recruited at Ohio state. I know how it works buddy. Bottom line......it is what you do with the players you have. Hollar at me at this time next year.

Pass? Play? Suspended/problem child? Grauduate? Classes can't be judged until they graduate dumbass! Records and achievements are available at that time in order to evaluate.
