Texas vs TCU game thread

Shane has missed a few throws but this isn't on him. I hate sounding this ominous but while I think Herman can get us back on track I do not think he is capable of bringing us to the promised land. I did before but I do not now, this offense is too disjointed, a degree of ineptitude that doesn't seem able to get out of its own way. I agree we may not have the top level of players across the board but we do have better talent than we've demonstrated on offense.

Agreed. Herman is supposed to be an offensive-minded coach. It’s disappointing that he cannot manage to come up with even a slightly better game plan to move the ball and score.

I am not happy that I rushed to get home to watch this crappy performance...how can they show signs of progress and promise and then suck so back the next week?

Sorry Steve but I'm not so sure you're right. It's like Warren, he's better than he's shown this year. I think there's reasons. Just like this first down they didn't get. Bad call or bad play? I think it's all related to the coaching.

I think Boo may not be all in on this game. Did you see him just watch the ball roll around at his feet? Then followed that up by basically assuming he was sacked the went "oh **** I wasn't tackled" and ran.

He probably has zero confidence in the offense, but that was bizarre to me.

As anemic as the offense is, if the defense holds TCU to 17, we may still have a shot. It's going to take a Herculean effort, and probably a turnover or two.

I think he understands that if he is hurt, we have very little left. He may also know that it was an incomplete pass.
