dude's got like $25/k month in child support, what did you expect? that he'd simply make that up trading derivatives down at Goldman Sachs?
 
exactly. the dude is hurting for cash. pretty sad when you can't make enough to pay child support when your income is over 1mm a year. even if he has to pay 25K a month.... he should still have enough left over. pitiful.

Looking at fed time, the typical sentencing in anything over a kilo of cocaine w/ intent to distribute is very stiff. If true, this guy will never play football again and depending on the exact amount is likely facing 10+ years
