Payton faces the new pitcher Paul a righty who is the WVU closer with pretty bad numbers for that role as you might expect from their record.

Up to Ty Marlow now and a check swing grounder to first and the first baseman flips to the pitcher covering and that's the game and WVU wins the game 6-3 and the series 2-1.

We have lost every conference series the same way and now two series at home to most likely the two worst teams in the conference besides us.

We will now most likely be in a death match against a terrible Tech team that beat us in a series at home to stay out of last place in the conference and make the Conference Tournament.

Whoever makes the tournament would only have to win it because they will have a sub .500 record in conference play. Then they could be sent somewhere as a 3 seed in a tough regional.

So I say stick a fork in us because we are done. Cue the fat lady and georgecostanza.
