I don’t know if I’m misinterpreting Vic’s response in today’s post game presser but sounds like Kyndall is definitely gone.

Vic moved on from that really quickly after saying only "no to the second" question. And Kyndall is still listed on the official roster on Texassports - not sure why. I'm starting to think Vic is more than a little frustrated with the roster as depth issues have played havoc with our guard rotation. Going into July, I'm thinking Vic figured he had 6 experienced guards. I'm starting to think he was surprised by Matharu's departure in early July (though we speculated on this board that maybe it was mutually planned) and then Kyndall's issues really threw things off. Think how much differently we could have approached portal recruiting if we knew one-third of our experienced guards were gonna no-show for the season. Signing one more combo guard from the portal could have dramatically helped with fatigue issues.

Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda… **** happens. But isn’t it amazing where we are sitting right now. The OU game is going to be huge. You know that fan base is going to turn out.

So Good game and I know I have a mental note/ hope. The transfer portal this summer is going to be interesting. We have 16 people walk on DONT count, we get 3 scholarships maybe 4 I think somebody is going to transfer that is going to shock us but I ain’t gonna say her name. So I think we go after 2 guards and my hope is for Quinerly from WVU to transfer and Cambridge from UK who is the older sister of the 24 recruit. But all of this is speculation I still want Spears from Wake forest also if she don’t leave after the season they having somebody ain’t advising her well. Also Latson from FSU I think she could leave and the guard we faced from Commerce I heard she leaving the one that put up 24 on us but she tore her ACL and is out for them so idk. Anybody got people they’ve seen on they wishlist of I hope she transfer.
