worst sequel ever?

Sting II was unwatchable. Just as bad as a movie can get. But, for overall worst performance in a horrible sequel, it's Dan Akroyd's in Caddyshack II.......and 2nd place is not close. Horrendous.

I agree with Caddyshack. But as far as a sequel doing an inexcusable disservice to the original, nothing ruins it more than 2010 Space Odyssey. SAL9000????? Female???? Good God!!!!!!

Reboot is absolutely correct. SATB II was a bad sequel but it's Oscar-worthy compard to the visual dysentery that is SATB III. I mean, Jerry Reed masquerading around as The Bandit?

Other problems:

The wretched, almost embarrassing script in which Jackie Gleason allegedly nearly came to blows in the middle of filming because he refused to mouth the rest of the retarded lines. God knows how they managed to get him to plug his way through the rest of it.

And then there's the 1,000 mile "chase" in which even a geographic idiot knows that they never left Miami-Dade County, Florida to film this? I mean, a shot of a supposed "Welcome to Texas" roadway sign shouldn't also have a Florida's Turnpike sign visible in the backdrop.

Just saw Temple of Doom last night. OMG - that was just amazingly awful.

I can live with a plot line that is a little screwy here and there.

I can live with a little over-acting here and there.

I can live with special effects that look like something from the 70's.

I can even live with an occasional scene that makes no sense.

I just can't believe that it was all wrapped up in one movie.

Jumping out of a plane over the Himalayas by sitting in an inflatable raft?!! Seriously, wtf? Then, the raft falls over a 500 foot cliff? Even the 8-year-old boy is unharmed?

Unbelievably bad.

I'm not even going to go into the opening song-and-dance scene that lasted like 10 minutes.

Agreed with Caddyshack 2 but don't forget Jaws 3-D. Michael Caine gets out of the water and into the boat and his shirt is dry. BTW how did they get Michael Caine to star in that P.O.S., must have been a wheel barrow full of money.

The Bad News Bears Go to Japan.

Being 39-years old and playing baseball all my life, I was a huge fan of the original Bad News Bears. I fell in love with Tatum. I didn't have any 11-year olds who looked like that in my school back in the day.

The Bad News Bears in Breaking Training wasn't as good of a movie as the first, but growing up not too far from the Astrodome in Houston, it was cool to see a movie that featured Houston and the dome in such a prominent (though not necessarily positive) light.

The Japan movie was just awful. I tried to watch it last weekend on some cable channel, and it was hard to watch. I can still sit down and enjoy the first two movies, although I'm not saying either of those two were Oscar-worthy in any form or fashion.
