Using your "Not wanting competition" to mean working towards its elimination, it follows that you are accusing the US Government of undermining sovereign governments and/or undermining free markets. I find it ironic that some of the latter is Trump policy from a global economic perspective. Nevertheless, if it is as you say, it also follows that the Russians and Chinese do not want US competition.
