Will Trump attempt to veto sanctions?

An arguable point perhaps. Speaking of vassal states, I suppose you speak of US supporting Ukraine sovereignty a provocation.
It's not US support of Ukraine sovereignty, but rather US intervention in terms of fomenting a coup, which is the exact opposite.

Points of clarification when you say "competition" are you talking business or geopolitical spheres of influence. Using your "Not wanting competition" to mean working towards its elimination, it follows that you are accusing the US Government of undermining sovereign governments and/or undermining free markets. I find it ironic that some of the latter is Trump policy from a global economic perspective. Nevertheless, if it is as you say, it also follows that the Russians and Chinese do not want US competition.
Undermining sovereign governments and/or free markets is precisely what the US Government does and has been doing for some time now. Need I list the countries?

Yes, pls list the countries and recent / current official policies and actions and show us how Russia and China are innocent.

For a start, Syria. Even as I write the US is illegally inside a country they have not declared war against, and have made statements to the effect we won't leave even after ISIS is defeated.
Venezuela. Although it's none of our business, Tillerson stated Madura must step down or resend the results of the recent election. We've already implemented sanctions. How is Venezuela a threat to the US?
The US announced we will build a naval base in Ukraine and are also mulling giving offensive weapons so that the criminal government can wage war more effectively against civilians.

As far as Russia and China, I can't give you any examples currently because they do not exist. The US is the country that wages wars all over the planet, attacks countries that pose no threats, foment coups, use the IMF as a weapon, and have around 1000 bases in over 100 countries.
