Will this be the lowest attendance & least revenue for a Final Four?

This is true, but are they dropping you or your cold, lifeless body. I refer to that as the "Expert Line" because the only people riding it are the lawyers & expert witnesses to depositions from the Medical Center. From Walker to Herman Park is not the most scenic nor safest route in the US.
You always have to leave time for either the paramedics to treat you or for the police to take your witness statement.

btw, if you purchase $5,000+ worth of furniture at Gallery Furniture and FAU wins the Championship, your purchase is free! (compliments of Mattress Mack)

Came across this news item re Mattress Mack and FAU:

>> If getting bet on by Jim “Mattress Mack” McIngvale was a curse, then a pregame speech from the furniture tycoon might be even worse.

The notorious gambler told “ Houston’s Morning News ” on 740 KTRH radio that he will host the Florida Atlantic Owls basketball team for dinner, give them a pregame “pep talk,” and pay for friends and family to attend the March Madness Final Four matchup with San Diego State University in Houston Saturday.

In exchange, the players will offer their names, image, and likeness (NIL) for his Gallery Furniture retail chain.

“Their basketball gym seats a total of 2,900 people on a good day,” Mack said on the radio show. “Their locker room is smaller than this radio studio.”

It is unclear in what capacity the Owls team will be affiliated with Gallery Furniture, but he is looking to capitalize on the incredible season that resulted in the best record in NCAA Division I during the regular season.<<

ESPN is reporting Final Four tickets going substantially higher on the secondary markets for the Women’s championship (in Dallas) than the Men’s

Heard on the news this morning that tickets for the NCAA women’s finals in Dallas were selling for twice the price of the men’s finals in Houston.

Also media reports of 72,000+ for first games. Figures don't lie but liars do figure, and we have some of the best in Harris County. That number is seats sold, donated, or otherwise passed out. There were very few of the 70,000+ available to the public before hand. $60 in the 600s ain't a bad deal unless you are stupid enough to try to sit up there - if indeed it is even open.

$40 for the 600s around 5 this afternoon and then sitting in 107/108 is a good deal for a basketball fan. Even sitting in the 200s.

On a positive note, it did appear that Tim McGraw & Keith Urban drew a good crowd for their concert downtown last night.
