He is a triple threat kicker like Russell Erxleben. I saw his video and he can kick field goals and extra points, punt and kickoff. His punts and kickoffs are high and long and have great hang time.
If he can reduce the number of long returns on kickoffs this year compared to last year by half (by way of forcing touchbacks), he would become one of the most important members of this class--and that's saying something.
A top notch kicker is a great way to fill out this class. With Hicks, this makes two excellent OOS pickups to end recruiting. That makes up for some past disappointments.
