All this back and forth on this story is only going to make this thing grow and grow. Instead of bitching at each other, why don't y'all look closely at the facts. You can either put this thing to bed or just blow the whole thing off.
 
weiner is just hoping this goes away. he can't ask for a investigation when he knows he did it because that would actually be a crime. all he has to do now is deal with the press and his wife.
 
He looks so uncomfortable answering questions. And everytime he does give an answer it is so obvious that he is avoiding saying certain things. What I don't understand is why he keeps doing interviews and answering questions. Why not just say, "we think my twitter account has been hacked and we are investigating, no comment"?
 
My view of this story keeps changing as i learn more.

Either way- it's embarrassing and I'll try to reserve more judgment until the facts emerge. However, he is a public figure whose last name is slang for a dong- so, let the jokes emerge! I'm 100% bi-partisan when it comes to puns and good jokes..

If he has any honor at all he would resign. I'm guessing he has none. Bill Clinton wannabe.
 
If I had to guess......he's not involving law enforcement because he doesn't want to be put in a position of making a false statement. That opens up a whole new can of hurt.

His performance on this has been abysmal.
 
after watching this weiner since tuesday, it's clear he's hiding something (no pun intended). Won't answer a direct question "did you send the photo in question" type of stuff. He really just needs to come out and admit whatever the F he did what he did it, and move on.

Tressel needs to call weiner and tell him the cover up or playing stupid is worse than the crime.

Seriously.

I thought that Ensign, Larry Craig, Vitter, Lee, Mark Foley et al* should have resigned after their "incidents", and I'm not going to be hypocritical about Wiener IF he sent the pic and is trying to cover his *** / crotch by not directly answering the questions.

I'm a Democrat and have admired Rep Wiener's fire and outspokeness on many issues, but this will not stand, man.

The Clinton reference is based on his wife working for Hillary. They have some real synergy going together now. Maybe he got a lamp flying at him recently. Maybe in his next presser he could question what the definition of is is.

I guess what is more amazing than some on here blaming Breitbart is that Weinier actually thought he could bluff it out, knowing all the other crap he'd sent
 
I suppose Weiner thought if he ignored all the media hype it would eventually peter out.

What a buffoon, how could a public figure do something so mind numbingly stupid? I can give athletes a pass on social media mishaps but a federal congressman with a full staff to protect him, this is just inexcusable.
