I think it's time to start profiling white men between the ages of 13-55.

I'm trying to remember when a woman, girl, black person, asian person, latino, native American, or old person went on one of these spontaneous rampages.

I remember the freeway sniper from DC a few years ago, but that was more of a serial killer and not an explosive single event.

I fly more than 100 times in one year. At one point, I was placed on the "no fly" list. SWA suggested I include my middle initial at the end of my first name to change my name. Guess what, it worked.

Not sure the "no fly" example flies. PMP.

DFWag made my point. You can place people on a no can buy list, you can regulate guns to whatever you want, but the fact is, if a person wants to commit an act like this they are going to do whatever they have to, legal or not, to commit the act. You cannot legislate someone out of bad behavior. The same day of the tragedy some Chinese guys slashed a bunch of kids with a knife. You want to ban knives? All the reaction about banning is ridiculous. It doesn't solve a thing. The reason we have the First Amendment is because we have the Second Amendment.

Horn 11 disagreed with my point about criticizing the NRA for gun policy in this country, but the fact is that in Red States and the country as a whole, it's the NRA lobbyists who write the laws that elected officials dutilfully put in place. The organization has a purpose and I'm very comfortable that it is heard in this debate, but not so comfortable that it is obeyed.
