all of you jumping on blackbelt? I just don't get it. He said he had some concerns about what he had heard about Obama and that he had tried to research and find out the truth. He didn't make a single negative comment about Obama, he just voiced his concerns about things he had heard and read about Obama. He never claimed that Obama had any type of radical Islamic background, but that he heard he had been exposed to it and that his two father figures were Muslim. I do believe that those statements are true. Does that mean that Obama is a Muslim? No, but blackbelt didn't state that it equated to Obama's faith either.
He seemed to have stated he wanted to see where Obama really stands on issues and not just his campaign rhetoric which is what one finds on ANY candidate's website. "Just go to his website and you will see where he stands" That is complete BS.
I guess it has now becoming completely unbecoming on WM to even ask questions about Obama's background and/or his political positions. blackbelt clearly wants to put some critical thinking into his choice for president, and while I feel that he and I might have grossly differing opinions on who we will vote for the way he has been attacked on this thread really pisses me off. I don't know blackbelt, and to be honest I don't recall reading any of his posts on WM besides the ones on this thread, so don't think I am sticking up for a 'buddy' or something. I just find some of the attacks against him and what he has said about Obama to be uncalled for.
BTW, I got that 'email' about Obama. I know that it contains several flat out lies. My mother in law sent it to me and I defended Obama against the lies that that email contains and told her to quit spreading it around. That is not because I like Obama, but because I don't think any candidate should have lies spread about them. blackbelt didn't spread lies he talked about making honest inquiries into him as a candidate.
