Who else has crossed the aisle in their lifetime?

Texanne
AH I am one of your people then.

I am curious on what the GOP has done that you think means they don't care about you.

6721- I think you and Texanne are very different people actually.

One example would be refusing to pass legislation (annual budget) because it did not maintain the Bush tax cuts for the upper 1%, despite the fact that 99% maintained their tax cuts, and over 60% of the country supported this facet.

Another would be not passing jobs bills that were paid for by combinations of cuts and the upper 1%. (You did mention you support the lower middle class, 6721.)

mcbrett?
"One example would be refusing to pass legislation (annual budget"

Did the Senate pass a budget?

perhaps if some people would get over the obsession with the top 1% and work to create a climate for businesses large and smaller to succeed those of us in the lwer middle class could move up.

The closest I have come to crossing the aisle is going from Republican to Conservative. Even on my very first ballot, I voted for every democrat but Ann Richards and the senators.
