agree, renegade. johnathan is considerably faster than ced and more fluid. i read quotes, though, by a couple of hs coaches comparing johnathan to ced, and, as i said, i couldn't see the similarity until i saw footage of aledo in a tight game. then i could see the opportunist at work, and that did remind of benson. i hope he has some of ced's ability to contort himself to make it hard for a tackler to get hold of him. ced was one of the best i ever saw at that.
ramonce was terrific, but he was a situational talent. johnathan has the every down usefulness of benson with considerably more speed but probably not the raw toughness. that's where malcolm will shine.
malcolm is big and tough with very good speed and some wiggle and can catch, and johnathan is fast and fluid with great hands and can make the tough yard when he needs to. great, great pairing.
i had to youtube clinton portis but i can sure see what you are saying. johnathan isn't thick like portis, but i'm sure portis wasn't very thick as a junior in high school either. johnathan's elusive running style and speed do remind very much of portis.
