Where to get brunch

Over the last ten years the food and environment at Star Seeds has changed dramatically. Beyond comparison, actually. And if you don't like the food at Magnolia yet like the food at Star Seeds over five years ago, I am confused.

I have eaten at both and enjoy both. I live close to Star Seeds and used to eat there very often. Knew most that worked there. Magnolia is clean compared to the old Star Seeds. The dirt, the attitude and blaring music were all part of the ambiance.

I miss the old Star Seeds but welcome the new version too. But it was awesome to see a family amble in from the Days Inn to the blaring gangster rap or punk rock. They would look around and then bolt out.
 
im done w/ magnolia, few too many bad service experiences.

if you want some cheap drunk food, go down to where Johanna meets up with South 1st and have some La Mexicana. You can get two breakfast tacos for under 3.50ish and they are 24 hours.
