When the Republicans own up to this

I'll start listening to their arguments about fiscal responsibility. You all supported this, and your tax cuts, and now you want to pay for it on the backs of the middle class and the poor or the 47% (and those were the ones likely to fight too.)

Why do you think you have any legitimacy here? And you do realize that gerrymandering will only save you for so long.

That Bush/Hastert/McConnel Amnesia sure is prevalent around here. Just saying.

What are people like you going to do when Santas bag is empty?

Eight-two of 208 Democratic House members, and 29 of 50 Democratic Senators, voted for the Iraq Resolution (Oct 2002), including John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and Joe Biden. The resolution would not have passed the Senate without Democratic support.

I need explanation as to why the US Federal Government number exploded under W? Why did that number take off exponentially?

What year did we start having $1T deficeits(sp)? What was the big shift in Congress that year?

Do a little research before you spout off about **** you obviously do not know about.

I will agree the Iraq and Afghan wars, whether necessary or not, did increase the budget, however the military was slashed to almost nothing under Clinton/Gingrich, money had to be spent, we were under attack.

the iraq resolution authorized the president to use force if necessary; he then used it when it wasn't. **** him and the dems who gave him the long leash; they should have known not to trust the flop faced Ivy league coke head from the start

So how long does obama get to use bush's mistakes to make the same mistakes but on a larger scale? When do we just agree to do what's in the best interest of the country?

If it makes you happy, I will say it. I thought bush's debt was terrible.
Unfortunately Obama has only made things worse.

This is funny. One of the BIGGEST mistakes in HISTORY?

Lets see off the top of my head...
German invasion of Russia in WWII... check
Japan attack on Pearl Harbor... check
Napoleon's invasion of Russia... check
Vietnam war... check
World War 1... check
Treaty of Versailles... check
Chernobyl.... check

I could go on, but these were worse than a semi successful attack on Iraq.

That same debt from his predecessor that Obama has so far eclipsed in profligacy? (Bush - 4 trillion, Obama - 6 trillion).
Adding the $166 billion per year in war spending from this estimate linked in the OP to the estimated $100 billion per year "cost" of the Bush tax cuts ($266 billion) accounts for half the debt incurred during the Bush years -- more than $2 trillion ($266 billion times 8 years), which still leaves $2 trillion more
racked up by the government-spending monstrosity birthed by the Democrats.

Democrats portray the Bush tax cuts and wars to be the biggest (if not only) debt driver during his term, which is FALSE.

I wasn't aware that "Bush" held a gun to Obama and the Democrats' heads and forced them to spend (waste) $800 billion in stimulus money, then keep that same $800 billion increase in the baseline each successive year because they didn't have the nads to actually pass a budget (thanks to the Senate).

Pease stop using the hook 'em sign. You are a disgrace to higher education. Assuming you have any higher education, which is a leap.
