Despite the advances over the last thirty-years, the fact that no one in the IT industry seems to be able to create a secure system with reasonable functionality indicates the industry itself remains in an infantile stage of development.

Possibly, or the condition may be a function of the operation. IOW ... expecting the secure system with "reasonable" functionality sounds like tradeoffs in aviation.

The comical thing about that is that developing these "super planes" that supposedly do everything was supposed to save money. Also, in this context, "reasonably" is a euphemism for "mediocre but expensive."

Some theorize that the leak was not sloppy IT ^^^ on Clinton's behalf but rather an intentional act.

The theory goes like this -- the "leak" by the Clinton Campaign of secret nuclear documents occurred 11/21/13 was not "accidental" but rather payment for "speaking fees"
