How long would KU and MU have to stay consistently good for the Big XII to become the media's darling conference? Assuming we and OU don't dip in quality.
The BIG 12 has 3 top 10 all time teams...
The SEC has only 1... Tennessee might have a case. Florida, Georgia, and lsu are all nice programs currently, but nothing more.
Not to restart the facilities argument, but wasn't it not too long ago that we beat out Stanford for Sports Illustrated's "best sports school" award? Something about how we had the best facilities in the land?
