I'm thinking that means 2020 Deja Kelly to Oregon, too. Don't believe Sedona had even considered Oregon prior to signing with Texas. But, Sedona visiting Oregon and Notre Dame officially the last couple of weeks (just like Deja did a few months back, unofficially) was not a coincidence, IMO.

I don’t think they have enough scholarships they already have commitments from 3 other perimeter players. I think Deja ends up at ND.

Guess Sedona didn’t feel she was getting the medical treatment she needed? I sure hate Jim English’s remarks!! What a jerk!

He may be a jerk and should've never put up a twitter comment, but I still doubt Sedona leaving had anything to do with medical treatment.

WHO is this JERK Jim English??? What a complete moron talking to Sedona like that. She is an incredible person and very kind. She and her family made the best decision for her under the circumstances!!!!

Agreed. I think it’s exactly as she said, she felt Oregon was a better fit for her than Texas. And when you look at Oregon’s success recently you can’t argue with that especially on the offensive end.

Sounds like there the start was a disagreement over her injury and rehab. Unhappy player gets a promise of playing time from Oregon which Texas was not will to give.

She thinks that Oregon is better for her so in her mine it will be - until she finds less playing time than she was "promised", and Eugene isn't Austin and the closest "city" is either Seattle or San Francisco.

And you know this how??? You are merely pontificating on what Oregon promised her which I doubt was anything other than the same opportunity every other player on that team gets.....which is to prove themselves. Sorry, but Kelly Graves didn't build that program into what it is by making promises like that. OH, and FYI....the nearest "city" to Eugene is Portland....and it's a beautiful place!!!!!

Because I know without a doubt..... THAT is how I know.... NOW, run along and play with your other 5th grade friends.......@Mooooooderator......
Sure you do. Just like you know that Kim Mulkey is a good person at heart because she said hi to you once and shook your hand! LOL

Actually, I was introduced to Kim Mulkey through a friend who knows her personally. I have sat and visited with her on SEVERAL occasions and she was always gracious and engaging. So no, it wasn't just once, nor was it a passing handshake. Sorry sweetie, TRY AGAIN......

Oh you poor ole thing.... The only thing that can compete with your delusional and inflated ego is your paranoia.....
Yeah, I'm the one with the ego. Be careful not to get poked in the ribs when you are rubbing elbows with Mulkey and the Princes.

The twitter feed clearly got out of control. Fans and adults should never post critical statements at players' accounts. College students make choices on a number of reasons and we should respect that. Coaches and administrators make big money and their livelihood depends upon the success of their programs. We can clearly comment on coach and administrator decisions. I find as much fault in the attack on the player as I do in the statement that she did not get proper medical care or advice at Texas. If you have information put it up or shut up. Everyone can make a mistake but to suggest that a coach or staff did not have this player's full health and recovery as a top priority is insane. Time will tell whether WBB works out on the transfer. We should all wish her the best.

I agree that no one should attack a player on social media. There is no upside, and it isn't classy. And Texas has always been known for its class. Of course, everyone is entitled to their personal opinion, and those opinions may even be justified...just keep them to yourself. I do think Sedona's comment about getting the "care" she needs was unnecessarily provocative. That certainly feels like a dig on her medical treatment, which everyone knows is second to none at Texas. And if it's something else, why make the comment at all? Obviously some fans are upset about her decision, and rightly so, and keeping it classy goes both ways. Fans say stuff they shouldn't all the time, and players are taught from day one....everywhere....not to take the bait.

I totally agree, which is why I’ve always said that IMO she was using the “care” that she needed in order to get a waver to try to get immediately eligible if she is healthy enough to play this coming season.

Been an athlete and been around enough athletes to understand their thought processes. This is obviously a disagreement over the injury and rehab and a promise of playing time.

Having lived and worked up and down the Pacific coast I know where Portland is, and I can truthfully say the closest real cities to Eugene are Seattle and San Francisco. Portland is a want-a-be that will never be.

I have been an athlete as well and played on a high level. NCAA coaches of the caliber of Kelly Graves don't simply go around promising playing time just to get someone. Sorry, but that's not how it works in elite programs. She will earn her playing time. I'm not going to speculate about anything else, because I don't need to. As far as YOUR perception of cities, that is all that it is. I played in an ASA Softball World Series in Portland and I thought it was a lovely city as do many!!!!!

Who said it was the head coach who promised playing time? There are other people involved in the process (both on the elite club and the university sides) who give the HC plausible denial, especially when they are saying what the athlete wants to hear.

Who said Portland wasn't a lovely city?
